Definitely love Foamposites for the winter here in Chicago. Really like this collaboration as well, but it’s out of my budget lol.
Both pairs are fire. I lean more towards the black pair. The retail price is out of my league. I can’t justify that much money on one pair of shoes. Hopefully I’m able to see one of these pairs on someone else’s feet out in the wild one day. Dope review. Later.
If the price wasn’t so high, I would go after the black pair. I lowkey want to hoop in them 😂

The black pair did look pretty nice on those on feet shots! But... yeah the price is just way too much for me since I really don't have a huge interest in foamposites or CDG.

Fans of foams or not that price point is a lot to ask. And I get the molding process is complex and highly specific, I really do...but over half a rac for practically an all black or all white shoe with all of 3 whole materials used on it is too much man.

I really like these CDG foams a lot but no special box, synthetic leather, and no metal lace tips for the 5 Hundun + resale.. nahh. The lil keke samples are dope haha

I hestitated and my size sold out. I think they look amazing, and I'm sad to have missed on such a unique shoe. Then again, they just cost too much. Hopefully I'll get to appreciate someone else wearing them out in the wild.

Don’t worry, the original Foamposite design is still far superior. This is literally all CDG could do besides just applying their own color scheme to the model. But, just because you can…doesn’t mean you should. As a foamhead, I consider this “alteration” or redesigned upper blasphemy. Don’t break what isn’t broken.

This release isn’t guaranteed to shoot up in value. I know many foam heads who’ll diss this redesign because it squashes the best part of the original design. At best, this collab will retain its ridiculous retail price tag on the resale market, and probably not much more. Theres more risk than incentive to purchase something like this just in order to resale it.
Never cared for foamposits but those black ones are 🔥… but then again what’s up with that price…?

I figured these were based on zen gardens, but (thankfully) I don't think they really pulled it off. They ended up looking worse than regular foams.

Bruh, these shoes come with fake leather. FACTS. There’s a tag that comes with the shoes and it clearly states that the leather is synthetic.

Definitely WAY better looking than the god awful ugly ass normal Foamposites. Still looks pretty bad to me though, but I know that's a minority opinion. Insane they cost so much though, even with the new moulds. Just make more pairs. But Nike would rather they go to resellers than consumers so why bother making enough pairs that you could lower the price... Also completely inexcusable that the leather is synthetic on such a pricey shoe, and a collab for that matter. Really anything above like $100 should have genuine leather though, especially from a company as large as Nike. Getting extremely tired of all the half-assing from Nike on QC and material quality.

I'm glad foams died... Was tired of seeing people wear them. They were always trash and these are no different and $500 retail? Hahaha nah... People will regret buying these to resell because they'll be well under retail in a few months. Most shoes that retail for such a high price always drop in price because no normal person is paying that. Same with those Jordan 5's they released a few years ago for $400 but at least those had premium leather.

@@nerdbamarich2063 The shoe itself just looks bad. They're big and bulky and look like plastic. Only a couple colorways look decent like the galaxies, big bangs, doernbechers, paranormans etc. I tried a pair of my brothers stealth's on when they released to see what the hype was about. They were uncomfortable as hell too. It was just a shoe that was really popular at one time and I just didn't like em. Everybody was wearing them and I just don't see why. I was always a Jordan guy but I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way about some Jordan's then I do foams. It's just an opinion. I'm sure you have opinions as well...

Either way I feel you on that and yes everybody has opinions I've just never really cared what anybody else was wearing that I can tell you for sure. I actually prefer to see people wearing stuff that I don't wear much it gives everybody a little variety and most importantly they wouldn't be wearing what I'm wearing LOL. It's all good though!
@@nerdbamarich2063 Yeah I'm in Baltimore and they were popular here for a while and I like to see people wearing a variety of shoes as well but years ago everybody and their mother was wearing foams and they were played out. They just over saturated the market for a while there and I'm just glad they're dead. Now you hardly ever see anyone wearing foams these days and like I said a few colorways are dope but the shoe itself just isn't good looking in my opinion. Especially on feet. I honeslty don't care what anyone is wearing these days I'm just glad I don't have to see these too much anymore.
