This one or the Griffey 2?? Which one has more pop/ sweetspot, etc?
Haven't swung the Griffey 2.0. But just looking at specs I would assume the bigger barrel of the Griffey will have more sweetspot, but performance is going to be negligible. Same tech in both barrels.

i never thought I would see the day when the BP Hero would be gaming a balanced bat (IronMan 2.0) but it just goes to show 2 things, 1) we can change and 2) Balance bats can still bring the heat...i jumped back on the balanced train last year with IronMan 1 and Suncoast 13 inch balanced senior bat...my game has exploded...old dog meet new tricks said I

I spent a lot of years trying to hit every ball harder than the last one. I wouldn’t say I was successful to the point that I was some kind of softball phenom. But for the level of competition I was playing at, I think it would be safe to say I was at least a little bit successful.
As time went on, the competition I was playing against advanced to the point that the “hit the next one harder than the last one” mentality was starting to lead to problems. Being more mindful of home runs, hitting behind runners, and ball striking consistency were at a premium.
I was kind of stuck in a rut of feeling lost when the Ironman 2.0 fell into my lap. Everything I had been working on changing in my game to evolve as a hitter became EFFORTLESS and I was still hitting the ball plenty hard to boot. Control line to line and the ability to still get out of a 300’ park when needed. I have the confidence back that I once had with the big endloads.
But, all that to say this. Make no mistake that if I were to wash my hands of getting back into the competitive scene (goal for 2024) and stick to lower level/pick style stuff, I’d 100% go back to endloads with no hesitation.

They encourage breaking it in with 52s to start to avoid those issues.
The Candy Cane is not the same - it's not a 12 inch barrel.

I preferred this over the pink Tantrum, but there’s no way you lose with either bat. Both are top notch performers.
