So for some added stuff for you guys if you’re interested. All TM Hi Capa platforms have a plastic upper receiver (slide). The “Hi Capa” or 2011 platform is what’s used in JW however the JW3 Hi Capa is made by TTI which basically means is a Hi Capa on steroids. Generally most people will go for a TM as an upgrade base because of parts comparability 👍

They are based on "2011" not "1911". This is because 2011 is a further development of 1911. They are similar in operating system but 2011 is way more advance. Essential 1911 and 2011 are a different gun and 2011 should be recognized as it is.

More specifically the 1911 is a single stack magazine and the 2011 is a double stack. Hence 1911 has a skinny mag and a 2011 has a phat mag. The 2011 was developed as a more modern competition pistol 👍
I've just paid 145 for the standard one. Everywhere was sold out so obvs its thr top dog of pistols but managed find a site and it's on it's way cant wait unbox it.
You will not be disapointed it is a formidable sidearm! Could even run it as a main tbh!
@@eagleairsoft483 I know dude I had a good research watched loads vids other brands are decent but TM just stood out above the rest and plus you can upgrade for it. And that's what I'm going to do run it as a main firearm until I decide what rifle to buy. But I've wanted a M1911 since I was a kid so researched and found TM one and it looks amazing. I want the TM extreme 45 next thought.

@@eagleairsoft483 I know just cant wait for it to come now had to buy it from a site in spain everywhere else was sold out or they kept giving me the D.O.R version n the slides ugly on that one. But found it anyway it's currently in the Netherlands. Haha I've seen Raven loads of times on gun sites they look like the bb guns I used have as a kid the shitty spring ones that shoot like 3 foot lol. Cheers for video aswell dudes helped alot. The gold match bumblebee look is nice just my heart was set on black white the silver slide. Like the punisher gun but without the silver tip.

I believe the hop up is what might be causing that fps change if they are set the same they should shoot the same but set differently they will shoot different

I really wish TM would have milled/cast the rail into the frame on the 5.1 like they do on the 4.3.
I do agree it is a shame they haven't but I think the slide not being cast into the rail gives it some character, never mind the great performace this pistol kocks out 👌

The slide cycles faster due to it being less weight on the gold match that’s probably where you get the increase in fps

Would a custom Hi-Capa outperform the Tokyo Marui I wonder, or would performance difference only be minimal? I do like the looks of custom ones..
I would imagine the custom Hi-Capa would be better as you would be tweeking the parts thus increasing the performance. However out of the box both of these High capa's work remarkably well tbh. 🙂

Any idea if you can buy replacement slides for these guns here in the UK? Because of the laws in Scotland (as im sure you know) you need a UKARA membership to buy full black airsoft guns. Since I only have access to two tone guns at the moment, I plan to convert it to full black once I get the UKARA membership by using replacement parts. Im having a really hard time finding replacement slides etc for any airsoft guns that I know for sure will work. Any suggestions on pistols with good aftermarket support or places I can look for replacement slides?
Hey Peter, we're sorry to hear about your predicament, yep UK UKARA is abit of a pain! I have done abit of digging and found this UK supplier for metal slides. The quality looks good but its abit steep at £100 but it's a place to start. I will keep my eyes pealed for you.

With regards to a sidearm with easily accessable parts I would suggest the Glock range, either WE or Umarex are very good platforms 🙂

I prefer the standard because I feel like kinda getting the gold defeats the purpose of getting a hi capa for me because I’m the type of person that likes to modify their stuff and everything for example like modifying cars which I do or like in this case modifying my airsoft gun with like slides triggers or whatever to make it like competition maybe
That is a good approach to it, the High Capa can be easily customised and to make it how you want to is awesome, for me I have a soft spot for gold guns (thanks to Call of Duty games) 😂 - Sam

Does the gold Marui take co2??? Ps I’m new to airsoft
When you buy this from new the mag comes as a green gas mag, however there are C02 mags available 🙂

@@hoppyjayson3162 It's an option but not essential. Green gas mags are much easier to get hold of and to be fair alot less faff 🙂
@@hoppyjayson3162 Do not buy a co2 mag for a stock TM. The slide is plastic which will not handle the pressure of co2. Make sure to upgrade the slide and maybe some internals before trying co2.
I know im late lol but im trying to get into airsoft. i found one of these on redwolf for 40$ and it says the fps is 150 with .12 gram bbs. if i use .20 grams will it get to about 300fps?

I've had a look on Redwolf's website but cannot find the high capa on there for the $40 mark but for that price it will probs be a spring version of one or a 'boneyard' the term used for broken/faulty guns and gear that might explain the low FPS. If it is the legit GBB of a TM high capa get it as that is a steal for that price then get it looked at by a airsoft tech to fix it! usually the heavier the bb the lower the fps but the joules may increase but I would say that the one you are looking at will need some work doing to it to bring it back up to the 300fps area 🙂

@@joshkrouse4444 Haha yeah with airsoft logic doesn't always work trust us we have failed many times across the board thinking logically 😂 however, I would highly recommend getting one of these, although they were a teammates and not ours we loved using them and tested them on game days and even outside these thing pack a punch with the FPS and the range! tbh you could easily run a TM high capa as a main gun! kick ass and look badass! check out our other video where we take a closer look into the gold match! 😁 No need to thank us, we thank you for your time and your support! 😊🦅

The Gold match is a great choice! Tbh I would hold on to it, take it from me selling your guns is regretable I have done it a few times and miss my pewpew afterwards. The TM high capa is so customisable that you can do what you want with it and it will be pretty much unique with amount of stuff you can do with it 😊 - Sam

I have a few questions. How hard is the blowback? How many shots can I get off with 1 full fill of gas? How far can this thing shoot?

The blowback is not mental but enough kick to feel it and thw speed of the racking back is very good! because of the size of the mags you can certainly get 2 mags of bbs outa one full fill but would depend on the weather GBB pistols dont like the cold so be aware of the temp 🤙 regarding the range if this I would happily use it outside which I have done and using 0.25g it does fly pretty well but its a pistol at the end of the day so don't try and sniper peeps from a mile away as you may be in the sights of a legit sniper 😉😂 but yeah overall I would highly reccomend this pistol 🙌

Can someone pls tell me why the gold one is so much more expensive?
From what we can find out, the Gold match has slightly higher FPS output and also looks cooler 🤷♂️ Not a massive price difference but a noticable one fore sure. Hope this helps
Does it matter what green gas it is or no
Hello! It's not the end of the world if you dont use green gas but to ensure the pistol lasts as long as possible using green would be best but ultimately the choice is yours, red or black gas can still be used but may cause issues from what we have found out. 🦅

Hello! 👋 Both of these pistols require gas, as the slides are plastic (good quality) BLUE gas is the best to use however you can also use GREEN gas 🙂 the mags are filled from the bottom 🦅 we took a closer look into the gold match pistol in another video
Why wouldnt the gold be good for speed soft?
It would be a decent gun for speed soft, from I have seen it is the main platform gun the use 🔫 loads of upgrades for it and readily available 🔥

We used green gas for this video however using green gas is advised for plastic slide gbb pistols 🙂

@@PlanetUrnus Green gas will be better to be honest, I would 100% recommend the ASG "ultra air" green gas. Its very affordable and personally never had an issue with it 👌

Honestly Mark we can fully understand you being hesitant, as a hater myself of plastic I can 100% vouch for this gun and the slide! Having used this gun both CQB and outdoors it is a thing of beauty and a true work horse, hasnt jammed, broke or pissed out gas either. I want to start in ISPC matches and a hi Capa is the way to go I guess. Can you modify the TM hi Capa with aluminum slides or is it not a big deal to have a plastic one?
No worries dude! 🙌 Yeah man this will be a perfect gun for you! You dont have to upgrade with the gold match as the internals are pretty spot on already. Externally might be worth chucking some upgraded parts on it to prolong its life 🔫 🙂
