Lors des premières écoutes 1000 gecs pourrait laisser perplexe, à la recherche d'un sens plus profonde sur la pop qui se cacherait dans ces déconstructions. Finalement la clé de ces chansons est qu'elles sont juste amusantes et qu'elles n'ont pas besoin d'être plus que ça. objectif atteint donc. C’est tout.
De nombreux passages de l'album sont stupides, mais qui peut dire que c'est une mauvaise chose? La bêtise a longtemps eu sa place dans la musique pop, et l'écriture absurde a été étudié comme art dans nombreux concepts de littérature.
