This is some strange re-definition of the scene-pop sounds I grew up with. Mad props to the sophisticated and highly experimental ways of approaching the production in this album!
Man. This album really is super unbelievable. Such a mix of irony and genuine emotion, it's so much to handle. You guys really make me appreciate the things I have going on right now. Multiple songs on this album make me actually cry, including this one, because of the care and love in the lyrics and presentation, which is the fullest, most unabashedly uncompromising you went with it all. Seriously, this is such a great experience that I come back to all the time, thank you.

I wish we had more songs that capitalized off of early 2010s nostalgia.

OMG i NEEDED to hear that ending
Had an emo and scene phase growing up and I think I was right to say it wasn't just a phase because I dont think I ever grew out of it. 100 gecs is literally giving me nostalgia and I just started listening to them this afternoon. Every song I listen to I'm singing along to within seconds like I've known the song for years and its my very first time hearing it Lol I love this so much, you guys are awesome never stop being real🩷
