    So when you put the alcohol black berry in fusion in to the boiling water you evaporated all the alcohol out of the brandy so what was the point?

    It wasn't clear, is the sugar in the first bowl of the crushed berries and alcohol and also in the pot of water at the end?
    What is a good substitute for "Alcohol for Fruits"? I haven't seen that here in California.
    Also, when waiting for 5 days, keep it in the refrigerator?

    You killed the alcohol didn't you, by putting it in the very hot syrup??

    what i do not understand.......if you boil the alcohol at the end........all the alcohol will be boiled off.....so where is the alcohol now..????.......or am i missing something..??????
