Apartment management offices always complain to the police on everything from people hanging out in from of the buildings, people suspected of selling drugs, loud dogs, parking issues, non tenants using their laundry facilities and trash dumpsters…etc.

Dissension in the ranks. Sometimes good cops turn bad because a supervisor or management directs the officer or officers to pick on a specific group or do something illegal. The officer follows the order because he doesn't want to get fired. A similar incident took place within Culver City PD. That was many years ago and I hear they are a good department now.

And they STILL illegally ran his info trying to find a reason to mess with him…their goal…to forcibly arrest him, ruff him up, “teach him a lesson”. The lesson: Stay in your place. We ALL know this. police is fighting crime... they are in life and death situations every day. Those bodycams don't even enter their minds until after the events have taken place in which now what they are saying is a total contradiction to the events that have just transpired. These same cops never treat white people like that look at how long it them to catch Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy Jeffrey Epstein and they had the evidence to prevent them from committing more crimes, but because they were white they went unnoticed for decades and when they did get caught it was a shock to many that they could even be associated with the crimes that they had committed and look how law enforcement treated them like they were the pillars of the community upstanding citizens, and a Black man, women or child can't even walk in those communities, if confronted by police officers the first thing is do you live here or is that your car. The department of Justice is very clear, If a police officer runs a person for warrants without that person committing a crime, the officer has committed a felony.

If found guilty the matter will be sent out for prosecution. It varies from law enforcement to law enforcement department as far as to who will prosecute. If no action is taken, at the local level, then the matter can go directly to DoJ. It could also be given to the DoJ at the same time so they can follow the case to make sure it is being handled properly.

Regardless of the ethnicity of the cop or 'suspect', THEY expect YOU to 'calm down' no matter how they speak to you, violate you, or what you were going through when they arrived. It's a universal constant with them, they take personal offense if you aren't respectful enough. So I do wonder if they're trained to grasp the concept of being professionally repugnant. Is Racism a request to be part of the USA's police?
I've come to the conclusion that there's a archetype or a typa person that goes into law enforcement....prolly prone to violence and has an issue or dislike of people of color. As soon as somebody is non-cooperative (like this lawyer, even though he was right about his rights) is a non-verbal sign of suspicion and the police alarm bels go off!!!! policemen are trained to watch these things. imagine its a drug dealer dumping illegal substances claiming to be a lawyer, the police dont know. they only see the guy is acting suspicious and is non cooperative... so that why they want to check him out more! no act of racism there.... if you think so your discriminating yourself by going in a victim role! there is no difference between people... if you think there is or you let "media" believe its there like in this video. then you become a victim of your own imagination! just be free of this narrow perspective... let the chains fall of! be enlightened
The lawyer's demeanor is clearly that of a professional. That is Major Clue No. 1, Mr. Officer.
No it's not, there is no lawyer out there who will prescribe a citizen or man on the land, to exercise their legal rights when it comes to the gray area of jurisdiction that a cop has in order to be able to do his job. That supposed lawyer did just about everything in his power to get his foot as close to the line to getting shot if nothing else.... A good lawyer would understand the situation and how it looks and not play politician and also not play lawyer with officers he damn well knows or should know, don't truly know much about the law other than statutes and codes.
If you simply drop the ACT and just do what an officer wants, and be sincere about it, you would be surprised what advantages you can gain from it but people like yourself are too obtuse to see the big picture.
That's why people like myself capitalize, thank you.
Even in reckless driving situations and a gun pointed at me and rightfully so, I just tell the officer the exact truth and I'm in no moral or lawful position to justify my actions, and lastly tell the officer that it is what it is and will comply gladly to whatever is next that represents Justice and or the cop's job.
.... In other words they will always ask why the hell do I think I have a right to do what I did knowing full well they are asking a ridiculous question in which I simply tell him that I'm having a bad day and exactly what annoying bullshit that I'm dealing with and BINGO.... Here is a citizen that all of a sudden they can relate to and damn well knows I'm not lying.
10 minutes later, I get a simple ticket for speeding and a warning saying that they could have towed my car etc etc.... And I say I appreciate the leniency at their discretion and never devised an explanation for anything less than what I deserved, I'll keep that in mind the next time and do my job as a citizen to obey laws that are fair and as a result exercise more self-control....is there anything I can do? Are you officers ok? I support law enforcement if you can believe that or not and I'm sure you saw the decal of I support the local sheriff's department on my rear bumper, that decal by the way officers cost $100 lol as a donation and I'm pretty pissed off that I haven't received my second one for the local police department that in fact cost me $200 in donation and you would think I would get a sticker as promised but I guess I'll have to go down to the station and bother them for it lololol...
.... And the officers now who won at a gun pulled on me are now laughing and geeeee I really wonder if by chance they'll happen to remember me and my car for the next time if that ever arises or if I'm ever in trouble and I need their help.

Charges should be filed against the cop who tazed the young man who was just standing there texting on his phone...........The cop harrassing the young men who were actually from the town, where he wasn't...the hate in his eyes...he's a dangerous hate-filled individual and shouldn't be in a position that facilitates his hatred. Those young men were very mature in how they dealt with him.

I feel the dirty officers need to be the ones paying reparations out of their own pockets.part of the prob is these cops hide behind the area they work for to pay for damage they themselves cause. But I still feel the cops themselves need to be held accountable & Im glad you agree on that. Adding to what I've said before they should also have any future paychecks at whatever job they can get after, should be garnished for life even if it's just like 15% of the gross pay, to serve as a reminder of what they did.
