Can't thank you enough for your time in responding to my question and look forward to more enlightening videos. Let's all keep the dream alive, if not for us, then for our children and next generation!
The Highlander “Lawn Doctor” takes ugly lawns and transforms them into works of art! He is truly an artist when it comes to lawn irrigation, lawn vitalization, and yard maintenance.Truly the best!
I meant to tell you also that I really enjoy your videos! If I may ask, before I found your channel, I had purchased K-Rain adjustable nozzles. After your video's I'm wondering if I made a mistake. I've changed the side row of mister bodies with hunters and planning in the next week or so to flush them out and attach the k rain nozzles. I live in NJ so it's still been cold and haven't turned on the sprinklers yet . Can I ask your opinion on the K Rain nozzles and should I bite the built and just purchase Hunter MP nozzles. The area is just a stretch on the side of my house with 9 misters that I need to shoot out 11 ft. Much appreciated.
Thank you very much!! In regards to the K Rain nozzles. I do personally believe that K Rain , R Van and Toro's version are all "always imitated...never duplicated". Now I have never used them in an installation and done an honest comparison. (And speaking of that....I probably should.) So I can't 100% say that they are not worth your time and money. I have seen the R Van's in action, and was not very impressed, they seem cheap and I have heard that they break down easily. I will tell you that if you are doing a swap or retro of a "side of (your) house" with K Rain, make sure that the entire zone is the same style of nozzle. For example I have seen people mix and match rotary nozzles with pop up sprays (fans), and then run them for the length of time in that zone that would be fine for a pop up to put out enough water, but no where near the time needed for a rotary to do it's job. I only know the spec's on MP's and pop up fans because I use them as a comparison. So make sure the entire zone or area you are running them on are all the same type of nozzle otherwise I would not be surprised to hear "I hate these they suck" and as I usually state: "The reason you hate them is because you don't understand them and how they work!" Sorry for the novel. I hope that helps.
Hello, has your irrigation season ended? If possible, I would like to communicate with you about the cooperation of smart irrigation controller next spring. Are you interested?
