I am so enamored of that library. The lecture hall is wonderful, too. The age, the old architecture, just stirs me at my core. I can imagine hours and hours of deep enjoyment spent at that library. I am sorry to hear that you will be having to move from there. I just hope no one is planning on knocking it down to put in some modern monstrosity...I don’t think I want to know if that is the case. Thank you for showing it to us!
What a stunning classical library building! And, what a treat to live close by to be able to frequent it at will! Lovely! ALL those luscious books- a book journaler's dream! TFS!
Ayozie what a wonderful place, I would love to smell it, I bet the books give off a fabulous aroma. Thank you for showing us around, what a treat. Big hugs and loves xxxxxx Dorothy 🙋🏻😘❤️
I found the video of the library! I really should try to watch videos in chronological order! The library is beautiful. I hope the new location will have the same sense of history and character! Thank you for sharing this! I could tell that the acoustics were better in the lecture hall. The US is such a new country by comparison. We don't have this kind of history to live with every day.
thank you for sharing that beautiful library with us. I bet that the smell is just heaven. And the piano - oh my - if you ever want to play a tune and share, well I'm ready to listen!!!!!!
Sigh...I just loved your tour! We just got back from London and I miss the buildings that have such a story to tell and are just beautiful to the eyes. So much to look at and imagine 😊. I really enjoyed this peek into the library. Thanks so much for sharing!! Christy
Oh, my, that building is gorgeous! I love libraries, especially old ones! And that room where your piano resides.... wow, the acoustics in there for playing and singing must be incredible!! I was a musician, once upon a time, and I would've loved it!
Lori W- Ivy Shutters Ah Thankyou Lori! That’s wonderful that you are a musician! What did you play? I don’t play the piano very well, it’s more for accompanying my singing. Yes the acoustics in there are lovely. I will miss that space when we move. Heaps of love. ❤️
@@AyozieDesigns I played the piano and sang in just about any group I could get in. However, those days are long gone! Now, my musical skills would probably make your ears bleed. LOL. I sing to my cats. Hahaha
Oh beautiful, I can just imagine all history it holds. If wall could talk;). Many gorgeous old books and awesome statues! What a great place to be everyday! Tfs Ayozie, although I was hoping you were going to play some piano for us 🥰.
Gayle Agostinelli shared some of your designs on her Altered Book video how-to. Your art is lovely. This library is amazing. I’d have to play the piano too.

Anyway, thanks again! I just recently found you through Wendy's Journal Adventures. I love to hear your laugh, you seem like a beautiful person inside and out :)
Hi Gina, thanks for watching! Lol at your comment! 😊😂 I know what you mean! but so much work goes into the conservation of these old books. I'd perhaps consider one for a journal if one was being thrown out. The recycling is always fun to rifle through. ❤️
