- Hi everyone, in this video I have discussed why Locals are demanding 6th Schedule in Ladakh.
📌 Protesters are calling for Ladakh's statehood to be reinstated after it was made a Union territory without a legislature in 2019.
📌 They also want Ladakh to be recognized as a tribal area under the Sixth Schedule, along with job reservations for locals and parliamentary seats for both Leh and Kargil districts.
100% milna chahiye... they have their right to protect their culture nature environment and should be given equal advantages as J&K...we support ladakh and the people of ladakh...

Schedule 6th me dalna toh kaafi muskil hai.. china se border b hai 6th schedule meh include kardiya toh hamara indian army apne hisab se kaam nhi kar payeng, apne hisab se troops deploy nhi kr skenge na wha koi army ka camp ya post bana skenge.. isliye ladakh ko 6th schedule mein dalne se india ko bohot nuksan ho skta hai
@@Goat9.9.9bro mere hisabh se foreign affairs aur military affair, national security toh waise bhi centre dekhti hai states ki aur wiase bhi assam aur tripura jaise states mein indigenous tribe benefits hai aur wahan bhi border forces hoti hi hai and the fundamental principles of democracy wahan ke logon ko elected representatives hone ka right toh hai hi joh atleast wahan ke environmental issues ko address kar sake (and I think if the government is not able to fulfill there demands they should not enlist such promises in there manifesto)😅😅😊

@@Goat9.9.9 that actually makes sense, but what I think is that the China-Pakistan axis requires strategic infrastructure development supported by local communities.
By ensuring that the people of Ladakh have a voice in decision-making processes, particularly related to security and governance, the government can increase local ownership and participation in efforts to protect the region's interests and effectively address security challenges.
If im not wrong, Ladakh villagers are more often seen helping Indian Army face Chinese troops by providing supplies.
I cant confirm anything , is it true that its resident have bigger worries than China?
The Sixth Schedule provides for the administration of *certain tribal areas* as autonomous entities, the same thing can be done in Ladakh, right? Afterall being situated at a high altitude, not many areas are habitable.
if china is a thing of concern why did government promised to include ladakh in 6th schedule back in 2019? was that a political stunt? idk i think i need more research!

Just a curious question. For decades Ladakh had ignored by Congress. But only post 2015, Central Govt has been working towards Ladakh. Instead of working in cooperation with Center, why sudden protests??
@@thiruvetti this is not a sudden protest, you just watch godi media that's why you are not aware about this protest. Now it got intense as BJP promised to give Ladakh the statehood in their manifesto, in 2019 election. But didn't do so to favour corporates like Adani who are mining the Ladakh land heavily.

Ladakh should be recognised as per 6th schedule as well as should be represented in legislative assembly for its progress bcz,it is also the part of India.🇮🇳
i dont agree with the fact giving its own state power... The location of taht state is very fragile and important for India. If a state govt is elected like TMC(in terms of Pro China) then the counrty will be at high risk... Also if the tribes get to make their own rules I highly doubt they will consider the national security(ofc who doesnt want their family to be happy)
@@sarthakkothiyal9713 thanks for your critical note, I appreciated your POV i learned lot about from your ideology and concern for the Ladakh but here I didn't mean that there should be elected TMC or any other party i just mean for the justice and recognition according to our constitution bcz Ladakh is also a part of our country we should maintain peace and harmony at every level of the country it's just my POV i just want welfare of the society at every stage thanks.
@@sandhyaarora7991 I agree but one more thing i suddenly realised that why did they all protest just before the election they could have protested in January also even in 2022 and 2023... It can be just coincidence but there is nothing the govt can do right now immediately due to the EC but hope they will be offered something better from the govt.(whichever win)

In Manipur problem is between the two tribes lekin yaha pe border security ka issue hai.
If gov will grant them 6th schedule development will slow down there and this point when china has already covered mountains full of solar power we can't take such risks.
We need to work at faster pace in those areas.
And this is the same reason why arunachal haven't got the 6th schedule and why current government is focusing on infrastructure development in these States so that humari army koi koi dikkat n ho.

I respect the fact that national security should be at prime focus but that doesn't mean there should be no democracy. The locals should have a voice when gov decides their fates.
The industrialist who will win the lottery to work there won't think about destroying anything or everything. The big examples in front of us are Banagalore, Delhi, Gurgaon.
Nation can collapse due to lack of water or floods also, China is not the only danger.
Besides we have brains in Bharat, the gov should make good use of them and find a solution that suits everyone.
Their demands are genuine, but unfortunately their location is very important to be controlled by the centre because of the border

Certainly Yes, Ladakh should have their own legislation /legislature. Almost 100% of the population comprises of Scheduled Tribes, and the locals know about the geographical conditions very well than others. A proper and educated person should be appointed to govern the area. Believe me Ladakh can bring lot of economy for our country, if people are properly trained and create employment for the highlanders. Ladakh is unexplored and yet to be discovered. 😊 💙

Aur aesi kai states hai jinka Border China ke pass hai but vo states ki tarah function krti hai aur unke pass khud ki govt bhi h even in arunchal pradesh.
