I know Smash Tour was the ugly younger sibling to Smash Run, but it still holds a special place in my heart. Every day after school me and my friends would meet up, get soda and candy, and play a round of Smash Tour. This video brought back a lot of fond memories, thank you for playing this mode you gentlemen, and Vern.
I hated it when I tried it because it's a chaotic mess. And not the fun kind of chaos like actually playing smash with Items. I hate that everyone moves at the same time on the board with way too many flashing lights going off at once. I hate that almost every event is just a mostly regular game of smash with a small twist. They should've incorporated things like race to the finish, homerun contest and other side modes as minigames. I know Sakurai hates doing this, but this game mode would've actually been way more fun if it played more like a real Mario Party game instead of unnecessarily reinventing the rules and game flow just for the sake of being "different".
People always hated this mode back in the day. The times I played it with friends made me honestly like it back in the day despite not owning Smash 4 Wii U myself. I only had Smash 4 3DS. 12:24-12:33 Poor Vern. He didn't realize that a Mr. Saturn spawned the exact spot he shielded and a combo of Ryu's punch broke his shield!
Can I just say Sophist is a champ for simultaneously being the unluckiest mf in the group or everyone else is that good, yet still has the heart to play over and over and enjoy it with his friends. A true homie

At base they're generic, customizable avatars, but there's a certain.... vibe to anything the Miis do. They've become oddly endearing in my opinion. Smash Tour on the Wii, and Smash Run on the DS were both extremely fun to play. Smash Run being my favorite of the two. It was nice to be able to fight all of the iconic enemies from Subspace Emissary again, it brought back memories of Brawl. And having a PVE spree collecting all of your stats before the actual PVP fight was cool af. It’s a shame they didn’t continue with them. Having fun game modes like them instead of JUST regular fighting makes the game more refreshing and fun to play.
I honestly hope that, now that Nintendo is done with the character roster (which actually they've been for a while), they're gonna release some game mode DLC. I'd absolutely pay extra for Smash Run and Smash Tour in Ultimate.

I have a few ideas for you guys. For the first one, you have to have someone end with 20 stars. No matter who. At the end of the game, if someone has 20 stars, all of you win. If no one has 20 stars, you all lose. Bonus points if you manage to carry Vernias. The second one is having everyone start with like 10 or even 20 stars. First to 0 stars wins. If you run out of rounds and no one reached 0 stars, you start a new round on another board (randomly selected?) with however many stars each of you had left (including any Bonus Stars you may have gotten). You are allowed to not go towards the star, but if you do end up at the star, you must roll a die (or use a 1-6 Random Number Generator) for every choice, and if you roll a 6, you must take the star. Best if every "subgame" is 10 rounds, so every 10 rounds you get Bonus Stars and switch boards.
It just amazes me how Eevee every single time, finds a way to do worse than everyone else. Like I think the only game he seems to be good at is MK double dash
