I’m 74 and I remember neighbours looking out for and helping each other. Today the farms are larger, each farm has all their own equipment so each farmer is more independent. The Amish and you living among them have retained that same neighbourly way of life. Good to see.
Since our winters are fairly cold I used to cut a few extra cord of firewood each year to give out as Christmas gifts. Practical gifts like that are always appreciated. Have a good one.
Being a retired Hay dealer, I can appreciate that gift for sure. Nice looking Barn too!. great to have Neighbors like you two. I'm sure the day will come when he will and can return the favor/gift. tis God's way. Thanks for sharing.
What a great gift in this situation. I sure the new neighbors loved seeing it, moving is hectic enough they didn't have too worry about getting the horses fed while settling in.
An unusual and thoughtful gift for the newly weds. Why am I not surprised to learn you’re a nurse. I hope you were able to avoid the COVID madness. Stay safe.
My father was a tractor man, but we also had horses when I was a kid, for riding. The thing I miss most about it is the neighborliness of farming; I'd love to get back to that life one day--but this time, no tractors, please. Thank you for a wonderful video! you two rock.
Yes their sound is always amazing, we call it neigh! or whinny! it is also a greetings to other horses from behind or far. are you one of horse lovers?
Yes that is a great manifestation i really love a life like this! my late dad was a ranch owner with farm but pity me! i did not show much interest till the farm is down. i love my work.
This was an excellent gift whether Amish or just new neighbors. Hay can be utilized for an array of needs. Continue to pray during the Covid outbreak.💜
Yes splendid gift for them. Lol this corona thing is created to live with us the is no way this can be lifted. it came to stay with us just like other pandemics. all you need is to eat good and take good care of your self protect your self.

You have such beautiful horses, we dont have many farms left here in Massachusetts, so watching your video is so relaxing, may you be blessed with many many good days with an abundance of hay and crops this season, the good lord is keeping you safe and constantly looking after you
I loved the bounce bale. As soon as I saw that I thought he knows how to throw hay. I remember stukking hay, piling on the wagon and stacking in the mow. You learn quickly how to throw hay. The Shetlers you say. Northern new York sounds like Huevelton area and likely grandchildren or great grandchildren to Ben Shetler who I remember from the Chesley Ontario area. Ben was a very fine man. My wife and I looked him up in 03 or 04. We had a nice visit with him in his harness shop. We later heard he passed away a month or so later.
I live in Ohio. We have Amish families and their restaurants close to us. Awesome video. Peace and Stay Safe. Thank you for being on the front Covid Hotline.
I love you two, and your amazing beautiful horses! Bless you and Thank You so much for sharing. I'm an artist and live in Ireland. Have been around horses most of my life and now paint them. Have a huge interest in draught horses and painted them many times. June in County Kildare

Working Horses With Jim Also, I love to draw and paint horses since I was a little girl in the early 1950s, plus read novels about horses and watch TV series and movies about them. Hildago is top of the list, plus My Friend Flicka, Thunderhead, and Green Grass of Wyoming. The Amish, of course, have such a rich horse tradtion.🙋🏼♀️
kendrick goad We are doing ok. Not as much Covid 19 here as in more populated states, thank goodness. I lived Lexington, Kentucky, for from 1985-89, teaching English at the University of Kentucky. My former husband was in Cancer Research there. Loved the Bluegrass State!🙋🏼♀️

Amish usually get married in November after the crops are all in. Always like a woman the can handle a bale of hay or straw. Worth keeping
Oh strong woman be careful and don't cross that kind of woman she can take care of herself. 😆 lol and take care of you

your horses are in good shape to pull that load
u did very good not used to seeing horses pull the trailer used to the newest JD tractors
That’s awesome helping out the plain people 👏🏻I am very curious to know their reaction when they saw the hay what was their reaction ?
frank Almeida very thankful
Question: why did you use the skidder as opposed to the wheeled trailer when delivering hay ?
It pulls harder, so they get more exercise, which they needed at the time
That’s so cool
what part of the world do you folks live in? Wide open fields and woods for logging. Looks wonderful.
any chance you can do a video on your sled and any other equipment you want to include ?
koabd I’ll try to do that
Lucky you.
Hey Kat how are you ?
