I love when you reveal how Kanye's beats are made because to me they seem so detailed that it'd be very hard to recreate them but seeing how it was made makes it seem like its possible to achieve that same level of greatness with my beats eventually
To be honest there are a lot of details still missing in this remake which indeed are quite hard to replicate but it's those details that make it a Kanye beat. Listen to it in comparison: the most obvious detail missing is the trill in the strings right at the beginning. Still great job on that remake!
As a big Kanye fan, this was really interesting to watch! Maybe start a series where you remake classic instrumentals? Would be really interesting to see.
@@imamusicmogul these are much more interesting than modern remakes, especially a lot of the trap ones you do. You have great content, focus it on some heavier stuff!
This remake is spot on! Only thing that stuck out to me as ever so slightly off is the gated sound. The first section actually is slightly different than the rest of the three if you really listen closely. The ending chord goes high at the end but then lowers in the remaining 3 sections. If you listen to the song you can just barely hear a change in the ending. Hope that makes sense 👍🏻
thank you for making a very in depth video about exactly how the song was made. this is EXACTLy what I look for in a production video, and I thank you for helping me understand and get closer to greatness
16:20 that delayed audio really makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE NOTE: I just put your beat next to the actual song with Kanye rapping on it, and I KID YOU NOT, you cannot tell the difference
This remake is incredible man. It’s super helpful just seeing the types of sounds you use. I took notes while watching this with the instruments you used. The chord stab thing is killer and I definitely wanna mess with that for my own music. You’re amazing bro.
Very nice. The strings on Kanye's track sound like it's a sample that he sliced and triggered just because of the transitions. The synth sound is really the sawtooth with some Oberheim OB-8 or something similar to the Van Halen "Jump" synth. Great tutorial
FINALLY! thanks for the throwback. I been suggesting/requesting for so long that you make it a series out of it. Hopefully this is where its gonna go....thanks adam
This was random. Thanks for this. Funny thing is I was just watching the video for this the day before you posted it. Such a breath of fresh air from the basic trap beats that flood the scene today.
I write Music for film and even I think I could learn a thing or two from you. Incredible cover with just logic instruments. The first note in the strings just for the intro bars could do with a half trill :) Thanks for making my day. X
Amazing work man!!! Honestly so admirable, many people hope to be as skilled as you are with it. Keep grinding man, you deserve all the success you get brother
Yo bro,you smashed it ,great video, love your videos, showing the people the way they do it, and showing how to use bits in logic, great work bro, keep safe
I bet you won't pin this comment. Fire ass remake btw
Why you let him manipulate y'all like that mogul :P

Manasez you can do it!
@@ImManley thank you for the kind words!
His stuff is truly unique but definitely possible. Keep at it and you’ll get it 💯💯
the beauty and uniqueness is still there recreating is infinitely easier than creating. Keep finding yourself in it.

Still great job on that remake!
finally a remake of a classic
dark fantasy’s gorgeous remake would be nice
Fawaz Almarzuoq that’s kinda pointless because 90% of that beat is the sample choice & effects
Beats By Trilla I know, still would love to see it

Will be posting more classic beats every now and then

imamusicmogul try Still Dre. i think mine is the best on youtube so far so try it!
Do more Jayne @imamusicmogul. Your shit is 🔥 man
The fact that he made it from scratch in front of our faces. Crazy.....
Not many do this....
i mean realistically he already makes the beat and keeps it on another monitor and just copys what he sees

Ikr. Man is goated. Didnt even listen for reference

Wow I love this song so much I’m glad you decided to do a remake of it
Great remake only thing I’d say is the hook chords the choppy pattern id give it more voices and a detune to make it sound huge like the record
very insightful stuff. great vid
