Perfect. In my opinion, my musical hero Steve Hackett did his best work with Nick and Pete in his band's line up - NIck's contribution to Defector in particular was equal to Steve's - Hammer in the Sand. What a track - Nick's a prog hero too.
Pete taught me when I was in college about 17 years ago! He burnt me some Dream Theatre albums and showed me his work with Steve Hackett he is a really cool guy.
What I like about this song and the video is the intelligence that shines through. I don't know much about Pete Hicks, but, apart from having an excellent voice with great intonation, he looks expressive and deep. The music is gorgeous. If I didn't know any better, it sounds like the Alan Parsons Project. An amazing song.
I think that Doctor Petemetheus should be careful where he throws that ball! :-) Great video Nick! Nice to see where that chorus fits in after the original recording video blog--thanks!
A marvelous song. Love the elaborate melody, and the wonderful arrangement. In my world (and the world of your fans) this would be in the top 40. Move over, Billy Joel!
I'm really glad to see that Roger Whittaker has finally realized that prog is what he should have been doing all the time :) Honestly, Hicks would win every Roger Whittaker look-alike contest on this video. Sounds like an outtake of Eric Woolfson's Freudiana-project or even APP.

Pete Hicks.........................What a great singer.........wonderful phrasing Pete.
just saw him sing on Steve Hacketts song "Narnia" and he nailed the very tough vocal , originally done by Steve Walsh of "KANSAS"..

Good album. Surpassed my expectations. It might even be better than Hexameron.
