@@MorphingGrid101 that's an overall book that spans most all themes. Outside of that, we have had 3 for star wars, 3 for dc, and I belive a couple for Harry Potter, but we've never gotten on for marvel. Plus a couple origional themes like legends of chima.
Same that’s why I got one for fun and for research 🧐. Oh well it’s got some mistakes but so what it’s a children you book and fantasy . We made up our own hero’s using standard figs in the 80’s n 90’s we don’t ask for much .
I’m sure my brother is gonna love searching for every few mistakes in this book lol 😂 But more seriously I know for a fact he’s been waiting for a lego marvel visual dictionary for a while, plus he loves collecting iron man minifigs, very happy for him
An error I noticed is that on the page with mysterio they put a comic figure on a page with a white background when the white background is for MCU stuff and also on the allies page they give all of spidey’s comic allies white backgrounds
I agree, Lego should definitely consult experts in these themes before publishing a book. People like yourself who have been collecting for years would point out the mistakes and a lot if not all of theses errors could’ve been avoided. Great video!
This is a for sure pickup, I always love getting new unique armors to add to my collection. I’d love it if they made another one. And hopefully if they do we get an exclusive character like Stan Lee, Batroc, Zemo, Yellow suit Daredevil, or a member of the X-Men like Iceman or Gambit.
Looking at it, a cool idea for an exclusive book minifigure would be Supergiant, from the Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 game. There’s no need for unique molds, and the character in the game is a comic book-based minifigure styled like the MCU/Infinity War Black Order minifigures. She’s one of the members of the Black Order in the comics, but for some reason was absent in the film. Including her would have appealed to comic fans, as well as movie fans for a character who could fit in both sides of a collection.
Do you think if the Deadpool movies never existed and he wasn't as mainstream as he has become, would lego still be whiling to include him in their products over the years??.... When you think about it, it sucks that a REALLY WELL RECIEVED MOVIE has tarnished the reputation of Deadpool being made by certain toy companies (not just LEGO). I think the best way to put it is that a "violent character" is not seen as NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY until they make their way into the bigger mainstream media (become so popular that parents start to realize the true nature of that character). They can get away with making Morbius toys because no one wanted to see the movie (thought of him as a joke), therefore his violent aspects are overlooked by parents and he can be included in toy products.
AOS is definitely still on the main timeline up until they time travel. Otherwise Fury doesn't have a Helicarrier in Age of Ultron. That being said that set was a comic/generic marvel set because of Detroit steel.
Technically anytime you see Miles in a hoodie and shorts with his costume under it it is a reference to into the spider-verse because he basically wears that for a majority of the movie
For Thanos I would say there are only 5 Minifigures and 4 Big-Figs because 2 of the minifigs are the same as 2 other minifigs just with a helmet which i don't think makes them a completely separate minifig and One of the Big-Fig thanos's is the exact same as another one.
It seems to be more like a fun coffee table book instead of the end-all-be-all “encyclopedia” that they advertise it as. Which is fine but it’d be cool if there was an actual picture book of ever single marvel minifigure that was categorized in some way that the actual Marvel team at Lego HQ categorize their figures.
like id have been fine with a cool comicbook iron man suit, but this suit was literally in one issue of an Avengers comic and nobody likes, talks, or cares about this suit. This was absolutely a suit a lego marvel designer noticed while reading comics one day and liked and decided to make knowing damn well nobody would know what suit it was
I would’ve preferred more commentary from you on your experiences from specific sets/minifigures than all the errors, but I appreciate you sharing this video! Not a lot of videos covering all of these books.
There are actually five versions of Vulture. They didn't put in the comic book version with lighter wings from set 76147. It's just like the larger figure seen here but with wings in Lime instead of Green.
16:44 I have that helecopter I can’t tell if it’s my fault or not but if I try to even touch it it basically just falls apart 😂 I didn’t even know hulk was supposed to go there
4:00 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is MCU canon, as well as Innumans, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot, The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Daredevil, Helstrom, WHiH Newsfront, Cloak & Dagger and Runaways. This is not debatable :b
Lego will literally make every random Ironman suit from the comics before they do the MCU Mk 4 suit. It’d be nice to not have to use two Mk 3 suits for the collection one day!
So the green goblin and spider man mech are from mech strike where the villains use a kraken eye to take over the world but the heroes have the other eye and fight back although that is weird since I don’t think spider man got the kraken eye but maybe he did
28:14 LEGO gets it wrong all the time. I remember the press release for the UCS Hulkbuster listing it as from the hit movie “Infinity Saga - Age of Ultron”
Umm, actually there are two minifigures of pepper potts as rescue. The endgame based rescue armour and the comic based rescue armour from the 2020 hulk buster.🤓
One mistake I thought would make sense now don’t get me wrong but they did not add the 2002 2003 2004 original Spider-Man sets back then. I’m not sure if I’m right or wrong just my opinion tho🤷♂️
19:55 There actually was a second Rescue minifigure in set 76164: Iron Man Hulkbuster Vs. AIM Agent. Granted, they don’t include an image of that variant of Rescue, but the book is still technically accurate in the number of Rescue Minifigures… but NOT the number of Pepper Potts Minifigures.
The censorship of Deadpool in the book is extremely pointless. When kids find out more about the set, they will know that Deadpool is in it. When Deadpool 3 comes out, kids will know that there is a movie for Lego to make sets off.
The fig is for die hard fans of IronMan and Tony Stark ie collect all and everyone that’s come out . Outside the realms of that it’s not very impressive I’m not even taking it out . I bought it as a nice reference book . Edit : the book cost £6 I thought it was a steal
8:30 Technically norman IS the secret identity since in the comics Green Goblin isnt some alternate personality and Norman is just that insane. The norman persona IS a facade where the green goblin is what he's really like.
Unfortunately not, if u look at the image at 29:17 it shows the iron man from the book with it’s faceplate up and it has the same old updated tony head with hud display that we’ve gotten since the infinity war era
A Marvel Minifigure Encyclopedia would be great, as an adult collector I still end up getting them as they are a great reference.
Yes
Same
I think there's one already, comes with an exclusive orange spaceman Minifigure
@@MorphingGrid101 that's an overall book that spans most all themes. Outside of that, we have had 3 for star wars, 3 for dc, and I belive a couple for Harry Potter, but we've never gotten on for marvel. Plus a couple origional themes like legends of chima.

This is an alright first marvel book, I hope we get more in future
EXCELLENT LEGO IRON MAN MINIFIGURE.
I would say its bad, the helmet ruins it and the arc reactor is oversized I think
I’m sure my brother is gonna love searching for every few mistakes in this book lol 😂

Fun fact: The Iron Man Mark 64 is inspired from Tony Stark: Iron Man comic series from 2018 by artist Valerio Schiti
20:04 There actually was a comic inspired Rescue minifig in 2020 with the hulkbuster vs AIM set
I was litrally about to comment about this figure🤣🤣 so whoever wrote that is correct
To be honest I completely forgot about that set
A Stan Lee minifig would have been such a cool fig to get,
Lego pls do it next time
Possibly in avengers tower? Although Kevin feige is in that set
Let's get a petition going for a Stan Lee minifigure. I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet.
@@logantrimble006an extra 9 figs are missing from the avengers tower leaked minifigs list. Kevin feige is 1 of them. Stan lee could be in there.😃
I agree, Lego should definitely consult experts in these themes before publishing a book. People like yourself who have been collecting for years would point out the mistakes and a lot if not all of theses errors could’ve been avoided. Great video!
I like this exclusive minifigure, but if there is arm printing would be perfect.

I already really like this version of Iron man
There is another Rescue minifigure, it came in the Hulkbuster 2020 set
Looking forward to picking this up.
Anyone else notice how they reused the exact same art of Phil coulson from the start of the book in the shield section?
AOS is definitely still on the main timeline up until they time travel. Otherwise Fury doesn't have a Helicarrier in Age of Ultron. That being said that set was a comic/generic marvel set because of Detroit steel.
DK could simply open brickset web pages about Marvel sets and minifigs and literally do a perfect job with half time
Can’t wait to pick this up!!!!
Technically anytime you see Miles in a hoodie and shorts with his costume under it it is a reference to into the spider-verse because he basically wears that for a majority of the movie

I just ordered the lego marvel visual dictionary on Amazon I'm very hyped to look through the visual dictionary
Daaaang, 30 minute book review to find the mistakes - this is gonna be good
Lolol I agree!
This guys got the perfect voice for a “um actually” kinda video
It seems to be more like a fun coffee table book instead of the end-all-be-all “encyclopedia” that they advertise it as. I was asking for and happy we got an iron man figure as I collect them 🤷♂️
I think these books are a way LEGO can make comic book figures, so the next one I think could be a comic book captain america
11:08 THEY MENTIONED MEPHISTO! ERIK VOSS, WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!
You should do reviews on the other lego dictionaries!
8:47 I’m so happy that they have my first ever Lego set in there, (Spider-Man vs Doc Ock Armored Truck Attack)
11:20 love it 😎

actually pepper does have 2 rescue suits one the mark 49 and the game/comic book one from set 76164 or the one from the foil pack with the drone
there are 2 rescue figures, an MCU version and a comics version
There were two rescue suits. The other one came in the pancake head hulk buster
20:18 it’s referring the 2020 rescue fig based off the comics and said in addition is this mk 42
I think 'launches as the biggest ever lego marvel set' means that it was the biggest when it was launched, not the biggest marvel set as of now
That’s definitely what they meant, but from an editorial standpoint it definitely could’ve been worded better
Well that’s awesome
27:48 Should note that the Captain America at the top of the page wearing a partially black costume is none other than Bucky Barnes.
Got the book great review thanks
7:11 At one point in the comics Spider-Man owned his own company and was kind rich.
Rescue also came in a 2020 Avengers set, so the book was half right
I would’ve preferred more commentary from you on your experiences from specific sets/minifigures than all the errors, but I appreciate you sharing this video! Not a lot of videos covering all of these books.
I do love that we finally got a marvel book for lego but wish we could have gotten a different figure, tired of Ironman figures for sure
There are actually five versions of Vulture. They didn't put in the comic book version with lighter wings from set 76147. It's just like the larger figure seen here but with wings in Lime instead of Green.
That miles is legit into the spider verse tho? Maybe it wasn’t branded but it was clearly inspired by the movie you cannot deny that
Need a minifigure collectors book now. With real facts 🤣
What about a Stan lee minifig that would have been awesome
20:13 they did make two rescues though bc there was that red comic book one in the bad hulk buster
16:44 I have that helecopter I can’t tell if it’s my fault or not but if I try to even touch it it basically just falls apart 😂 I didn’t even know hulk was supposed to go there
“Iron Man patriot minifigure” what
there actually are two rescue suits the purple one and a red one from that really bad hulk buster with the flat face

27:03 they need to make a Deadpool mask
Ant Man is my favorite MCU Superhero too!
I was just trying to find a review for this 👍👍👍👍👍👍
There has been 2 different rescue armour’s one of them is a comic book one from the same set the agent colsen is in
The only time that the cover is better than the book itself
There are 2 rescue figures, there is also the red comic based one
Ah, you’re right! I’ll own that one - but technically that means there’s arguably (5) Pepper Potts minifigs so the book is still wrong 😂
3:02 Coulson and Lola are in the MCU?!!!
AGENTS OF SHIELD IS CANON CONFIRMED!!!!!
Could you make a video of your favorite minifigure for each Marvel character
So the green goblin and spider man mech are from mech strike where the villains use a kraken eye to take over the world but the heroes have the other eye and fight back although that is weird since I don’t think spider man got the kraken eye but maybe he did
They edited out punisher from the daily bugle page too
Whoa, good catch!!
I think the other rescue on the pepper potts page might be referring to the red one in the 2020 hulkbuster set
I think there are two rescue suits for pepper pots, there’s the mcu one and the red one from the hulkbuster vs aim set
Amazon says it doesn’t include the minifig so looks like I’m waiting for Bricklink to get it
19:19 Oh Great, the Winter Soldier! - Sonic
28:14 LEGO gets it wrong all the time. I remember the press release for the UCS Hulkbuster listing it as from the hit movie “Infinity Saga - Age of Ultron”
The second rescue figure comes in the hulkbuster.
There is also the comic book rescue minifigure from the comic book hulkbuster
Unless I missed something it looks like they removed all 18+ characters. Deadpool, Blade, and Punisher. Yet they mention Hell. Thanks Lego...
Umm, actually there are two minifigures of pepper potts as rescue.
The endgame based rescue armour and the comic based rescue armour from the 2020 hulk buster.🤓
As I collect iron man Lego figures this is brilliant news, don’t hate on it 😂

Amazing video, kinda painful that theres no figure list, like in the sw dictionary in the end
we did get a comic rescue, so 2 rescues
Hopefully they will make a LEGO marvel character enclyopedia
6:13 it's not violent..... Trust me it's not.
Deadpool is annoying. But I’m glad I got another new amor for Stark. Just waiting for the avengers tower
46:13 why is there a grey box for MCU figures?
I’m surprised how they get this much wrong. Many fans could easily fix this as you said. Feels incomplete too, I must agree
It’s really not much at all, just nitpicky
Which video game was Mephisto in?
The fig is for die hard fans of IronMan and Tony Stark ie collect all and everyone that’s come out . Outside the realms of that it’s not very impressive I’m not even taking it out . I bought it as a nice reference book .

This could have been First appearance Iron Man!
There is no such thing as too much Iron Man only not enough Iron Man
Ultimate Spider Woman >>>>>> spider Gwen
23:56 yessir 😁
Good video
4:43 Biggest LEGO Marvel set AT THE TIME 😂 @MiniSuperHeroesToday 😅
Does iron man have a new face?
Unfortunately not, if u look at the image at 29:17 it shows the iron man from the book with it’s faceplate up and it has the same old updated tony head with hud display that we’ve gotten since the infinity war era
Bruh it sounds like chat gpt wrote half the book 💀
Bro is without a doubt wearing a wig
No way that’s bros real hair
Where the hell is Batman? Talk about an incomplete book!
Every Lego book has mistakes, it's so annoying
