Hello sir....kindly clear by doubt. It is said that......unlike pteridophytes ,all bryophytes are homosporous . But in Marchantia in a spore tetrad of capsule 2 spores are destined to form male thalli and other two are destined to form female thalli . Then, how Marchantia can be stated homosporous....?

Hosporous is said to be on the basis of similar size but their fates are different
