Used this tonight for first time and hated it, I started with 100% battery and finished 18 holes with 24% so no good if wanting to take in a 9 hole first or even not have it fully charged before starting. I found the buttons and slider to sensitive that either my glove or sleeve of the jumper would press buttons and change settings or cut out to watch face constantly. I found the whole golf app pretty tricky to work and understand but perhaps that is just me. I have previously used the garmin fenix 5 x and it wins hands down for me in terms of battery and ease of use. Happy to hear others thoughts on my points.
I believe if you go to gesture in settings and turn off turn wrist to wake up or turn on touch to wake up, I use about 35% battery per round. I easily play 2 rounds on a single charge and not have the watch die till the next day. I haven't turned off any apps and use the watch GPS instead of connecting to my phone's GPS. Only issue is that you have to touch the screen everytime to turn the screen on... But I'm usually touching the screen all the time anyway to get front, middle and back yardages. I have the S62 also and prefer this watch.
1. I had this watch for a few days. It never once lasted a full round of golf fully charged. 2. How long is this watch anticipated to last? Apple Watch has a three year lifespan. That puts this watch at $833 a year with no future resale value. Is this a fair assessment?
I really don't get luxury smartwatches, kinda like the first 10k gold apple watch, what's the point? It's gonna be useless in a few years lol It would be a lot better if you like paid 3k for the first investment and then every 2 years they come out with an upgrade, you send the watch back, for around 300 they change your internal and leave the rest untouched then they send it back to you. That would be cool.
I just bought this yesterday. I love it. Tried it yesterday on the course and I prefer my Garmin as I know how to use it. However it Looks and feels awesome. Software sucks lol. Interactions for me were completely non-intuitive...but I’ve been an Apple guy my whole life (but don’t have an Apple Watch as I always wear a “real watch” unless golfing). I couldn’t get the GPS to find me and my distance to center of green, so as long as i can figure this out and the yardage ends up working next round I’ll probably use this over my Garmin as it’s much nicer. I bought this on the way to the course...charged it in my car...and never even tried to learn anything...so I’ll spend some time before next year! (Note, it’s December 12 and I’m in Indiana...doubt I’ll play again until spring)
Looks good. You'd think as a psychologist he would try and stop saying "Look". It instantly feels slightly aggressive even when he is being nothing of the sort.
I bought this watch and it doesn’t work well at all! The courses I play don’t even have the updated courses available. The technology went bad after a few weeks and they had to replace it. It’s terrible!!!
Yeah what they are not telling you is if you flip the watch over and look at the back, it’s says “ MADE IN CHINA!” no Swiss time piece here, just $2600 of china made. Very deceptive .
Tag has abandoned 50k of us gen 2 users-- no longer compatible with the excellent modular concept, inferior materials, dated processor, no longer Swiss Made (China, WTF?) ...and they raised the price!!! This is basically a fake Chinese ripoff Tag Heuer, total crap, AVOID at all costs!!!
Too complicated and irritaing. No real golf player certainly using this feature. If (IF) a golf score watch is usefull, then... just count the hits and holes. Thats it! Upper button, counting hits by each press, lower button change to hole. NO specified course needed. Just a regular score form any (no named) course from hole 1-18.
This seemed like a cool way for watch enthusiasts to replace their Polar or Garmin golf watches...until I saw that it’s $3,000. I wouldn’t pay that much for any TAG (maybe an Autavia or vintage Monaco). TAG, if you’re trying to figure out why the watch world hates you...it’s sh!t like this. Gimme a break. Anyone with the bank to spend $3k on a golf toy likely has a collection that would only be diluted by adding a TAG to mix.
Yeah this is what I’m mostly concerned about. If I remember next year as I get it working better I’ll post here about it...but until then, I’ll wear it to work out
Is it possible to help, I lost the charger, can I charge the watch with any other charger?
Disappointed that my home course in plan of bunkers and yardages id 2 years out of date. How can this be updated ?

the battery alone is a failure, this watch should last at least two rounds of golf without needing a recharge

Why's it useless in a few years. ? You can replace the battery and it you get updated
They have a market, hence why they make newer models, not my thing but I see sport, fitness people wearing them
i getting one right now.
im not golf player i just fell in love with its look.
more money than brains
the watch doesn't allow you to input shots missed left or right this has to be done on the phone
Only if these luxury brands can figure out a way to make these smart watches future proof for at least 5 years.
they are future proof
Please help me to charge the watch

lots of salty comments, bringing a classic design with modern tec what's not too love!

just an aussieism
Looks fantastic. But 3 grand.... Forget it, it'll be outdated in 6 months.

Can this watch measure the height difference?
I Think it does because when I set the watch up it asked for my height and weight
@@massimomansueto7396 thanks!
Nice looking
I'm not even remotely interested in buying a smartwatch and certainly not a $3K one, nevertheless, this is a very good review.

Gimmicky but looks nice
Battery life awful doesn’t last a 18hole round
Was it fully charged? I'm considering getting one but if the battery is that bad then no.
It was around 95% charged
@@tonyragaman2158 Thx

I bet you have a trash apple watch...
All that and no comment about how accurate yardages are. 👎

That bald guy was talking a lot of shit. Seems he’s been paid off by someone to give him a script.
