🌹💙 This is the first Newlywed game I’ve seen where they play this format-cash instead of points. I didn’t think I’d like it but it’s better. TY for posting these. Much appreciated. Bright Blessings! 🌞🙏
Awesome that the guy posting this was on it! Also no need to defend yourself Danny boy. These questions were designed to trip people up/make them look dumb for entertainment. I can safely assume many a domestic incident happened back stage after filming episodes considering how "controversial" some of the questions were for the 70s/80s.
The second, third, and fourth place winners in the cash format wins whatever the cash won from the first three rounds and parting gifts of course! Winner does not win cash; except whichever prizes that are announced on the stage. Contestants are subject to paying taxes after game show winnings.
I Love Darla's hair. and they should have given you the points as it was clear the question was misunderstood. Oh-well. overall the game was cute. i hope all are still happily married!
I always thought that some1 should go all the way back to the old episodes of the original show & starting there, & try & contact every couple & see who is still 2gether/alive. I wonder how many couples have been on the show since it 1st started. It probably would be hard to find all the couples, cuz it has to be in the thousands. It was black & white when it first started. I watched it as a kid (I'm 54 now)in the late '60's, but it was in color by the time I started watching it.
I’m so glad to hear that you’re still married!! It means that not only is your love strong, but that you were both willing to put the work into your marriage when sailing wasn’t quite smooth. I really respect that! And you two made a really sweet couple!! Congratulations!! You may not have won the game, but you were winners in life and that’s far more important!!
Very cute couple D&D :) Hope you're still together, happy and healthy! Thanks for uploading and sharing. Am I the only one who caught Bev (whoever she is) call Bob "Blob" at 12:37 ? LOL
Great couples. The show varies the order of the answers between giving them to the wife and giving them to the husband and vice versa. They also change the order of which couple answers when compared to the order when asking the first spouse. Also, often lost on people, including the couples is that it's the first spouse's obligation to PREDICT what the other spouse will say, not what is the correct answer. So, the first spouse is the one who answers wrong or right, not the second spouse. Good job Danny and thanks for sharing!
I have always been a big fan of the big hair of the 80s. I grew up there in the 70s and 80s. And even to this day I still think women with the big hair is sexy as hell. I love the way Darla looks i
The thing about that is if you look at any type of porn from the 80s, most women had a full bush going along with the big hair. There were a few that didn’t. But as a general rule they did. Big hair on the top the hair on the bottom LOL big drapes on the top and shag carpet on the bottom LOL
Powerranger6342 If they are still married that’s awesome. It’s a testament to the love they have for one another. I’m sure they’ve been through a lot of ups and downs throughout their marriage. But to still be together as a testimony to the strength of their commitment and relationship. All I have to say to them is congratulations.
THis episode aired between September 12-December 2, 1988 as during the beginning of the fourth season they had his never done before or since money format. December 5, 1988 saw Paul Rodriguez take over as host, the show went back to its original format, and three couples instead of four.
which question almost made her cry. all the couples on this show were so damn well suited ro each other, so cute so young:, and funny:::: ya all still married.
Yes, Darla and I are still married. 2 grown boys, both successful in their journeys in life whom we are very close to. Now we are retired and enjoying life.
@@dannyespinoza3312And Darla is happy to be keeping you company in front of her hands & nose while Darla is the happy to be keeping you company Girl with her hands & nose!
They should have sent them to Hawaii, to help smooth over the potential fights they just ensued. What a let down of a prize ... i mean yeah the appliances are useful but WHOP-A-DEE-DO ! Thanks for the reminder that i need to do the dishes and the laundry. They should buy the men a texture hopper gun so he can shoot some Acoustic ceiling. That is the couple I wanted to win. Being romantic, btw, is not the same as having sex. I knew what she was trying to say. She meant like, him bringing flowers, telling her she was pretty, helping clean the house....stuff like that. They are a real cute couple.
Two questions. First, is that music when Charlie announces the grand prize the theme from 3's a crowd from 1979? Second did all couples keep the money they scored?
The "celebrity" aspect of this show really didn't make much sense and didn't add anything to the game play - kinda pointless. Thanks for uploading though!
I think is awesome that you are still together Danny Espinoza.....!!!!
Thanks for no commercials I miss this show it gets funny.
Absolutely love these shows. Thank you so much for showing them.
They should bring back all of the Newlywed Game contestants from years gone by just to see who remained married and who went their separate ways.
Agree, some of these men are clueless.
they should have the ones that didnt answer a dingle question correctly come back and see if this improved over time
