It's been nearly a year since I was introduced to The xx and I have to say they are one of my favorite bands of all time. Even though Coexist is my fave album from them, I See You resonates with me so much. What I find interesting about The xx is how Oliver and Romy sing sort-of emotionless yet Jamie's beats and the guitars add so much feeling and tension to their songs, therefore providing these deep emotions. I cannot wait for them to drop the fourth album if they decide to do so.

For my 25th birthday my big sister flew from Singapore and I flew from Paris just for this edition of Lollapaloopza in Berlin.
Her lovely German friends welcomed us.
I think is one of the real last moment that me and her connected.
It was starting to get cold and we were tired from the travelling and the festival but agreed that we had to stay until the end of The XX's gig 'cause it's one of the few bands we discovered at the same time when their release their first album in 2009.

I was there. It was as magical as I imagined it.
Music has such a huge impact on us and just watching the video made me cry. So many years and you still manage to give me goosebumps whenever I listen to your songs and that is pretty much every day since 2013. I still feel a deep connection towards the music and I’m waiting to see you guys live! x

The XX. Heard INTRO & ISLANDS like 10 years ago and have been a huge fan since. Everything they do is gold to me. We saw them live it was an outside show, the summer of 17', in Philadelphia. They of course were incredible!!!! I can't wait to see them again someday.
