Mrs. Flood lives next to Ruby’s grandmother. Ruby grew up in Manchester, I believe. She mentioned they (she & her mum) moved down recently to care for Cherry in her interview with Davina at the beginning of the episode. But, yeah… something’s up with Mrs. Flood.

I could not be happier to have Ncuti Gatwa as our new Doctor. He truly brings a brightness to the role that it needs for a fresh jumping off point, & he is a brilliant actor. We will be lucky to have him as long as we can until Hollywood steals him away.

I’m excited. Filming after work tonight
I'm convinced the woman who left Ruby is 13. RTD has referenced the Timeless Child/Flux every episode so far, and it's not been subtle. And as someone who openly enjoys multi doctor stories, I wouldn't be surprised if he quadruples down on refusing to retcon Jodie's run to the point that she's the one he uses (along with Tennants short stint) as the rope to tie 15 to the pre-bigeneration doctors. And I'm perfectly OK with that. Now who Ruby actually is is debatable. She could be someone 13 saved after Spyfall, a regenerated Time Lord the Master missed, or maybe she tracked down someone in The Officer or The Fugitive's cycles so Ruby is actually The Doctor, but she's definitely Gallifreian I'm sure. And I think that's why 15 was crying after killing the king; he remembered even though it'd been presumably thousands of years for HIM since the last time he was on Gallifrey as 13.
As for Mrs Flood, everyone seems to think she's River. Melody Pond, River Song, Carol Flood. I can't say I'd be surprised, but I'm also hedging bets that she's actually either The Valeyard or The Renegade. RTD loves bringing in classic characters (The Trickster/Sara Jane/Autons) and he loves making non televised creations canon (Beep The Meep/Abzorbalof) so both of them fit too. Mysteries abound!
