There's something similar to freeze tag in our country, but it's called "Langit at lupa" or "Heaven and Earth"(?) where the only difference is that there's a "safe" place, aka heaven, where you have to run to. Sometimes there are rules (like you can't have a limb of a toe or anything sticking out from some place or else you'll get tag) and sometimes those don't count. The it usually freezes everyone, and should avoid leaving someone unfrozen because they'll be able to unfreeze the others. The runner even cheat sometimes; moving and asking the unfrozen using hand signs to go and unfreeze them.
