Hi Laura. Interesting to see that you start your skinner blend differently and in a less complicated way to others I have seen but you end up with the same result. The skinner blend seems to have limitless uses and can add so much interest without the need for too much skill or accuracy. Thank you
Why thank you, Clare!! Bless you! Yeah, I always start my skinner blends this way. Once I learned that method, I never went back to the triangle method. It seemed to be such a pain for me...more cutting when you really don't need to. At least that's how I viewed it. So, you can be assured that when you see me do a skinner blend, it will always be that way. And you would be right also in the limitless uses of the the skinner blend. I hope you are doing well, and as always...sending my big hugs your way! :)
@@laurajschiller I am well thank you Laura. I hope you are too. This is the way I'll be making skinner blends from now on. Why make anything more complicated than it needs to be. Isn't part of the beauty of making and wearing or using things made by hand that you never get exactly the same outcome twice anyway!!! Have a great week.
I like the contrast of the skinner blended center against the stark black and white stripes! This cane reminds me of Van Gogh Starry Night :) Thanks Laura!
Oh my dear Susan! Thank you so much, lady! I hope you are well and so is the family! I love how you see this...it's very cool!!...and gives me another way at looking at the canes I create. Thank you for that! Sending you hugs! :)
Why thank you, Robin!! Bless you lady!!...and definitely hope you will find the videos I continue to put out helpful and useful. And just so you know...this is just the beginnings for me. When I started creating these videos, I wanted it to be like a book, starting at least on the first few pages of it. Eventually I hope these will grow into more complex things...we will see. But your support here means soooo much so, thank you and I hope you will continue to check in on me here. Sending you my big hugs! :)
