Motion is the movement in front of the camera, event could be a video analytics.

Hello my friend.
I have hikvision nvr 7600 serie and a anpvpiz dome ipc360 not micro sd installed. Camera is connected to the switch to nvr..
I tested both ethernet cable with a ethernet tester ok.
My camera detects motion in the day by a sound beep, but not triger motion do not record on my hard drive..
I went to camera settings enable motion.
Disable save in usb and micro sd.
●in nvr hikvision camera setting even selected all day 24/7.
●in nvr hikvision recording setting, selected red for event all day 24/7..
Not triger HARD DISK RECORDING motion recorden when i WALK THROUGH.
and continous recording act stragebly it records like in segment. In 8 hour just record like 2 hours

Third party camera may not trigger the motion detection info to the NVR. Use just the video stream from the cameras and make the NVR do the motion detection analysis.
