top tip. check your off road segments leaderboard on strava and check other riders' routes who did that same segment. (typically the top 10 from the leaderboard). this will "show" you all the best tracks and the best ways the link them together.👍

Beautiful ! A bit wet maybe ? On Strava you can search for segments, sometimes you find very long ones, and maybe a full tour. I use Komoot too, there are "local guides" who write down very detailed routes. 8:27 you only have to remove one lock, so it acts like a lock with 5 different keys - and you know who left the gate open 😄
if you had gone up the wall "ooh that looks steep" you can follow alongside the mtb trails on the gravel roads and then will drop out on top of the rhigos
Aye I love gravel, anyone can do it. My gravel bike is a 2nd hand boardman CX bike. I put 38mm wtb riddler on it, sensah srx 1x with 42-42 gearing, ali express carbon seatpost and handlebars and got some juin tech cable hydro brakes. It weighs about 10kg but it's easily the most fun bike I own.
