I have to say, I'm a big fan of Cordura. If they could do a Ripstop body with a Cordura bottom, I would buy it in a minute. The great advantage of Cordura is it's wear resistance. For the bottom of the pack that really useful.
Technically the ripstop is also cordura just a lower denier but I know what you mean. I'm planning to wear it and use it fairly extensively to see how it holds up
@@PackingLess Ok, thanks! Also tending more for the cordura version. But still also having an eye on the PD 45 Travel bp which might give more flexibility in some cases. Tough one.
Does the ripstop version appear less bulky than the X-PAC version? Also, if you have familiarity with the Evergoods CTB 26 or the Evergoods CPL28 - does the Able Carry Max appear bigger or bulkier than these bags? Thanks!
I really think its a good size especially if you economise what you carry. It is one of the most comfortable straps too so when its fully packed its still comfortable.

@@PackingLess Do you still like it?
@@sashinger5230 I haven’t had a chance to really test is hard, but I do still prefer the look and feel and weight of it

7oz is about equivalent to a 10k mAh USB power bank for what it’s worth!
Thanks for doing this review!
Yes thats a good way of thinking about it. But you cant put that weight into a jacket pocket in this case

Unfortunately I havent had a chance to check out the evergoods as they are difficult to find in Australia due to our expensive shipping
@@PackingLess Rushfaster has them all and easy to get :)
@@CompoundAce They're outside of my price range on there unfortunately
i have been thinking of getting this bag, the only thing is the size. Do you think 30L is a good one bag travel backpack? wish they have 38L.

Do you think this bag would fit under the plane seat?
I think it definitely would yess
Yes it does so snug and long as I have flown on delta airlines however you’d compromise some feet space
