Artscape 50th Anniversary Plaque Unveiling

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the building that houses Artscape, we unveiled a plaque at the cultural institution. The plaque was unveiled by the Premier of the Western Cape, Premier Alan Winde.
We were honoured to have the Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais, Executive Mayor, Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, Chairman of the Artscape Council Rajesh Jock, Artscape CEO Marlene Le Roux, members of the diplomatic corps and extinguished guests.
The ceremony serves to underscore the transformation from the Nico Malan as a former exclusive venue to Artscape as “a home for all”.
