It is very gratifying to watch plants come up the following years from seeds that you yourself harvested - that toasted cheese sandwich looked yummy
What a total joy being able to cook and eat that yummy toastie at your allotment , surrounded by your beautiful garden! I am so pleased the sunshine I sent across to you made it after all, lol. Looking forward to the next update!
@@kimtocker1667 thanks yes it came but it went too lol
Great stuff, Sarah! xx
@@NorthernMudlarks thank you x
Love seed saving and I have containers all over the dining room table 😂. Just make sure you dry them thoroughly before packaging them or they can go moldy. Great update Sarah, have a great week, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦
@@myrustygarden I have put them in paper bags ?
@@sarahsallotmentjourney if not quite dry you can just leave the bag open 👍
Everything is coming along so well. I look forward to your videos every week. Sending lots of love to you and Mick 💕

“Apart from the charcoal that’s a tasty toasty”😂😂😂 . I love the wild flowers and your beautiful bouquet ❤
@@cindisinkula4271 charcoal I don’t know what your talking about lol
Loved the klook of your toastie Sarah and I like a bit of burnt so it would have done me fine. Flowers are looking good and just leave the poppy heads in that tray and they will dry in the polytunnel. When they fall out of their pods and are dry store them in paper envelopes and mark them with what they are or you'll forget and also store them in a cold dry place. Sending XXX's
@@fairyacorn4854 thank you I put them in a tub and will transfer in to a paper bag
I really enjoy watching your relaxing videos Sarah. The wildflowers are beautiful 🌸🌼🌻🪻🌺

Dear Sahra, Thank you so very much for sharing your mudlarking and allotment journeys with us. I find myself loonking forward to your updates. You are a natural presenter. Congratulations, beautiful lady, from Perth Western Australia. 🎉🎉
@@karynbrown7519 a natural chatterbox I think lol
This always goes by so fast when I’m watching. What a beautiful allotment Sarah. You did great with weeding and adding the wigwam for the peas. I love the cut flowers . Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
@@susancousins8766 I know I could watch more too lol
Hi Sarah. What's a bit of burnt cheese toastie between friends. It looked good though. Loving all the things growing and the wild flowers patch and flowers in the pot are very pretty. I think you're doing great in the allotment so keep up the good work. Have a good week ahead xx
@@gaynor3976 it was so tasty lol
I would love to come and have a sit down with you in your garden. So relaxing.
@@debbiestickney9626 thank you
pretty pretty wildflowers! cheesy toasted sandwich sounds good, minus the charcoal 😂
@@Nicole-coliebrobro what charcole ??? lol
@@sarahsallotmentjourney lol did I say charcoal? I meant extremely toasted...😂
Usually you can collect the poppy seeds when the head is brown . Also your pan is called a ridge monkey. They are very handy, but i need to practice more on mine as i still tend to overcook aswell😂
I’m better at it now lol thanks
I love your allotment Sarah.
You can save all seeds, once the flower has completed its life cycle. Just snip the flower end off, dry them, then split them up, name them and store in an airtight container, or bag. If you leave the flowers to die and dry naturally in the ground they will self seed and come up next year.

OMG, That radio. Love it too manys.
It’s a modern one I got off my mum
If you put soil to cover the potato as it’s growing and cover up the leaves, it will keep growing and more potatoes will grow in the loose soil
@@lisamoss5796 I’m hoping to make my own compost this winter to help with soil as it’s a bit pricey to bring in
It’s come such a long way ❤
@@lisamoss5796 thank you
Isn’t “alternative” a great word!! 😂😂❤
I really enjoy burnt toast 😂
@@emilyjayne77 don’t mention the burnt toast lol
Your sweet peas will come back year after year and tend to change colors from cross pollination, at least the ones we have here in Missouri USA do!
