If her pets work like other melee pets, her lifesteal will cause pets to heal her. Might be worth trying. I can see her being a more assassin Yorick

Considering the packmates seem to apply cleaver, she probably can instantly stack Phantom Dancer, too. She reminds me of Leona, since you can't get her off, but neither can she run from you.
and they seem to apply grudge too,so maybe they can also insta-stack rageblade for a full on hit build?
Very true I could definitely see PD being built on Naf instead of Cleaver in games with little to no tanks. Making dem puppers move faster and bite moar is 😙👌

Unfortunately that's not how it works. It applies cleave stacks because they are applied from any physical damage. Grudge applies because it comes from spell damage and summoned units count as spells. phantom dancer and rageblade both requires you to auto attack to get a stack.

I love Zwag's vids but this one made Naafiri look like she's handicapped. He didn't fully understand her abilities and was just playing with instinct.

Honestly Riot actually went above and beyond with this champion, I really love quadrupedal characters in games, and she's the first one that is complete animal instead of part human.
Plus she really doesn't seem that overloaded for an assassin.

Her little doggos take less damage from monsters and she can jump walls and dive in fast, sounds like a jungler to me. Large creatures also reduce the cooldown of her dogs when attacked/killed, same effect as champs, so points even more to her being a decent jungler. Since her little doggos have HP and can be targetted by minions, guessing you can make them tank jungle camps for you and then hop over walls to get to the next camp, makes for a fast and healthy clear.
But that wave clear tho
She is a jungler, pretty sure she's intended to be, her kit is built around movement and dashing into a fight with burst damage

I mean, most characters can fill more than one role depending on team comp or build. I am sure she can be a mid laner too, just her roaming through jungle seems strong. With enough cooldown she will be jumping over walks like a talon. Feel like if she is mid laner, she will be a roaming mid lane. Push the wave quick and then roam top or bot, jumping over walls if needed to get into good ganking positions.
I'm pretty sure Serylda is gonna be one of her best items, she seems like she could utilize it well, and it would make hitting her 2nd Q way easier, plus it could be crazy if the lil doggies apply the slow too
I wonder if Serylda's applies the slow to the bleed as well. They'd never be able to escape then
yorick ghouls proc it, hence why it's basically core on him, so I am hoping its the same for her too. Minion management w/ slows could be great
I feel she would be a good jungler. Also her Q is a bleed, so it would be funny to stack DoT items on her like you did with Darius
She's literally made to jungle hence the passive cd on large monsters and the ability to jump walls/ dash to target& get true vision with ult makes her a perfect gabking machine

With her being melee and not having hard cc, the Spear passive is working at full effectiveness.
If you go axiom could you just keep on spawning more and more dogs? Or is it only capped at one use
I'm pretty sure that if you reset with axiom before the ult runs out, you could use it again to retain the extra pups

it looks like, if the passive dogs can proc on hit effects, then an on hit build is gonna be good for naafiri
All pets count as spell damage, the reason black cleaver works is because it doesnt matter what you do (auto on hit or through spells) as long as its physical damage.
Due to this pets can proc things like grudge/rylais slow or demonic's dot
To pet the dog, you press the joke animation twice in quick succession (ctrl + 1)
Also I always dig some Naafiri gameplay, would want to see a bruiser build with it if you can make it work. (Goredrinker/Triforce - Black Cleaver - Ravenous - Spear of Shojin - Plated Caps - Maw of Malmortius)
Edit: Pet 1 is ctrl + 1 twice, pet 2 is ctrl + 2 after the pet, and pet 3 is ctrl + 3 after she falls over
Do the dogs count as on hit? With her ult up it could proc kracken twice, and with rage blade u could 4 times with basically one hit? Or am I mistaken

it's always funny how riot wants melee champions to always beat ranged champions at close range to balance them, yet always give them the tools to also stay close, no matter what
I love bleeds just by looking at it W, E, Q, Q seems to be the best combo on her. Also I think we are missing 1 last darkend now. Arnt there 5 alive?

ive been testing her, and on hit lifesteal with guinsoos feels really good on her, build is guinsoos, bork, bloodthirster, kraken, and an anti heal item or wits end depending on comp, with atk shoesa
Maybe in silver bc higher elo wid literally 1 shot that build seeing as how she has no way out of cc

Might be good to try a conqueror build on her since your dogs can build stacks quickly like yorick so you can have sustain in a fight and stay on them for longer, mix that with the lethality build and that’s one dangerous pup, or a full dmg build into an IE to see if you can one shot people with your Q since it does increased dmg on marked targets with second hit.
It would be awesome if Naafiri team up with Neeko on bottom while Neeko camouflage as one of the wolf😅😅😄

If you ask me, with the way her abilities functioned I think she'd be a much better bruiser than anything

In some ways yeah cause she’s a bit like riven in that she only really scales with AD and CDR. The difference is that riven does pretty well in extended trades, not sure naafiri does that well enough to justify for example kindle gem. She’s a better cleaver user than talon tho, so she almost certainly builds that
Naafiri's puppers are going to have the glossiest coat after feeding on that Anivia egg all game :3

No character is out of the ordinary in terms of where they are in lanes so it actually has viability in terms of not "breaking the meta", heimer is also needed adc to balance out all of the AD from other lanes
After a herald or baron and belveth has her minions, push as 5 mid with ultimates up and watch the enemys moral fuckin break with so many extra units on the rift😂
Would on-hit Naafiri work? Like building her as an ADC? Botrk might go hard if her minions can trigger on hit.

Night Harvester, Shadowflame, Static Shiv, Lich Bane, Rabadon's Deathcap, and then potentially sell boots for Cosmic Drive or Spirit Visage. Really fun and bursty. As someone who has been missing a ad assassin in his pool she looks just like the right pick, I could never get used to Zed and Talon something about them just never clicked.

Talon and zed are really hard to carry with unless Ur cracked. Zed more than talon but they're both hard.
Imagine Naarfiri, Elise, Yorik, Malzahar and Bel Veth. So many pets. One good shove with rift could easily take a whole lane with a 5 man

and one thing I noticed is that your E makes your pack spawn behind you letting them take skillshots for you.
I think she will be stronger with more cdr, just keeping flying into you face with a bruiser build

I feel like Naafiri is what the old canceled "Omen" champion turned into. It keeps the redish color-scheme, the forward-pointed blades, and the quadrupedal aspects...
u need to land the 2nd q because thats her bread and butter damage it sure crits on the 2nd land with heroes having bleed effect, to sure land it u need to get close to your enemy first ideal combo is W+Q+Q follow up with E to chase them, if you have ult do R+W+Q+Q also save your E for follow ups or to chase them if they survive
It looks like you can send you packmates to walk further beyond you like kalista's W, maybe movement clicking and cancelling with the movement stop key?

Don't the doggos attack together with you? Some attack speed would probably make them go bonkers. Throw a bit of tanky stuff on top + titanic, would be fun to watch, especially when taking down objectives since they just sit still.
So the little ones apply on hit? If they scale with AS, on hit builds could be really hilarious.
I am looking at Quickblades on Naafiri, which will largely solve her cooldown issues with one item.
Im rarely playing SR but iblove playing ARAM. My first time with Nafiri was in ARAM game, i was shocked how she's easy to play and how much damage she deals. Did a penta, 30 kills, now she's my fav champ! 🥰

So u should buy ellipse first item. Run first strike and free boots. Then cd boots. Black clever, collector, edge of night. Ravenous hydra as 6th item is also insane. Another option would be grudge
do the Dogs apply on-hit? I know probably not, I know cleaver applies on physical damage, but if the dogs applied onhit, then Blade would be busted XD

I think they should nerf the bleed effect of the q a bit for minions… min 8 full wave clear with just q and no item seems a bit too strong

The main dmg source is hitting the 2nd Q on a champion with the 1st Q stack.
Eeeeh idk I think she's cool but I'm not a fan of people that have sources of damage that aren't them, like Yorick, Malz, Heimerdinger, Zyra, and Illaoi.
But with Naafiri it does seem like most of her damage is from her second q, but her packmates still give a lot of sustained damage that does add up over time.
I think full ability haste builds will be good (goredrinker, cleaver, ravenous, shojin, grudge, cdr boots)

I think building her the same as yorick (without hullbreaker) would be good like rav hydra, eclipse, cleaver/grudge, shojin, and whatever else u need to finish the build

From what I've played the best combo in early game would be whatever, as long as you keep E last to follow in case they flash Q,E,W....of have R...you just press it first, imo
Hmm, she's definitely interesting. I imagine W range being nerfed, or ends up also being the most exploited weakness with a champion who can quickly drag her poor ass under the turret when they try to go in. While E either gets a bit of extra range in dash potential, or a tiny bit more radius.
Seems like bruiser top would work with conq since the pack stacks it up really fast. Only problem is the lack of built in cc
And you also gain vision of everyone in the vicinity even when they are invisible when you ULT.

One of the best design for years, no bullshit immune or true damage, just interesting skill shot, 1 free movement, 1 restricted dash, and pack control for high skill expression
