To pet Naafiri: double-click ctrl+1, then press ctrl+2 to initiate the second pet, then press ctrl+3 to initiate the third, and then keep pressing ctrl+3 after the petting animation has ended to expand the petting.

He didn't click the small wolf, but the dash gets stopped by first enemy HIT and he hit the small wolf first.

The first Q causes bleed over 4 seconds, the second causes them to take ALL remaining bleed damage, plus % of hp, and a heal. Land Q, W to them, hit them with another Q since it's difficult to hit the skill shot, then E to keep on them. Best combo I have found so far.
Honestly Naafiri seems to be in a decent spot. She doesn't seem too strong, doesn't seem too weak, isn't too mobile, isn't immobile, just seems generally balanced which is fucking shocking.

I think it’s just that people don’t know how to play her yet that’s stopping her “broken” status. But it is surprising how balanced she is right off the bat.

I think she's a little too mobile personally, especially in the range she has to jump on a squishy when she uses both her dashes. Look at how she locked onto Kaisa at the end of the game from across the entire screen. That range is ridiculous.
Are you sure she’s *intended* to be a bungler? Every time that riot has mentioned her (first time during the season dev vid included), they’ve referred to her as a “midlaner darkin assassin.” This makes sense as well because we know that they’re trying to make 5 darkin, one for each role. Rhaast is already our jg darkin, if naaf is our mid, then that would just leave us with our sup darkin.
I think theire gonna make more than 5 darkins no? And yes shes supposed to be a midlaner. Also, the next champ is supposed to be a jungler and i dont think riot would make 2 junglers in a row
@@maxsimes Perhaps in the far future, but the initial goal is to be able to make a full darkin team, with 1 specialized in each role. Remember we're only getting one or two champs a year now, and our last darkin was in 2017. Or 2018 if you consider new Aatrox is to a completely new champ of course. So 5 initial darkin to be able to create a full team is definitely a solid place to relax, then any after can be a much farther goal.
Also my comment was more a rhetorical question than anything, since Zwag seems convinced that she was designed to be a jg and not mid, despite everything saying otherwise. I would just side with riot's messaging over him.

I could definitely see that as being good espeshilly if it's a tankier rune set like Conqueror or Grasp as I faced one with a bruiser like build on aram yesterday with Guardian runes, Duskblade, Ravenous Hydra, Merc Treads, Stereks and Spirits Visage, they didn't complete the last item. But I mean she didn't get the most kills on there team with that build but she did tank quite a lot.

it does but after one dog procs it it goes on the 6.5 cd befor the dogs can do it again
You didn't pet it right! After the head petting hit ctrl+2 then ctrl+3 to fully pet her (you can keep ctrl+3 forever to keep the belly scratches)
How do you start petting her at all? He didn't explain it and I wanna do it as soon as she's live. Pupper deserves all the pets.

Riot new champion drawing board:

- Has more dashes than current champions
- Will be played on the lane that we didn't intend her to be played
zwag, both q1 and q2 apply bleed, but the 2nd q proc/explode all the remaining bleed damage from 1st q all at once, then it proc the bleed again for the second time
also the explosion from 2nd q scales with enemy missing hp
also ult increase the w range quite a lot, w can taget back line but can and will be stopped by first champ hit

Yo zwag, you don't need damage for the perfect AtkSpd/lifesteal build. Damage items are worthless if you can just atk 10 times per second. "That basically multiplies your damage" Try scepter, bow, bow, the (AtkSpd/haste) dagger, basic boots, "then" build the full items. It honestly feels like cheating paying so cheaply for those stats early game. The quicker you atk, the quicker you farm. Then mid/late game you can build whatever boots you need to counter the enemy team (armor for AD heavy teams, tenacity for long stuns, or if you don't need it, lifesteal/cool down boots). The only games I have ever lost were when my team feeds, this strat needs you to get ahead early to create a level gap that you can abuse, which isn't possible when your team feeds. I also insta smite every time it's up (even wolves, chickens, Krug's), because it upgrades quicker into the game (you can use it more per game) and it also helps more to create that level gap. The only time you save a smite is when you know your team is about to take drag/Baron/rift herald, or you think you can steal. Just got a pentakill with this strat earlier "even with my team slightly behind".

Edit: She plays a lot like Elise's spider form I think. I have been trying to get Elise lane working (learning 7 ability combos is hard) but this champ should work much better.
Elise combos are extremely plain and dry. You have 3 damaging abilities a stun, an attack speed buff and a targeted blink which makes you untargetable. Ult which just changes form and gives you movespeed.
goredrinker would be optimal i think.. you are basically fighting in amidst a lot of people.. you could get massive healing..
no you need massive dmg so you dont have to heal. dont give bad advice!
I think the 2 q have the same damage n bleed, it's just if you q a marked target it will deal the 1st q burn all in one hit, and start the 2nd q bleed
If you Q a marked target, it will deal the rest of the bleed damage instantly and will deal bonus damage based on missing health. No second bleed.

The dogs are like the spiders, just a bit more independent.
Short range get closer that gets all the ads on the enemy.
Long range dash that is unavoidable.
Moderately timed stat buff.
Only thing spider elise doesn't have is skillshots and for that you got human elise.

I think it's interesting to see different people's takes on Naafiri. Riot made her for Mid Lane, but some play her as jungle. It's odd.
That was probably the least toxic and best sportsmanship I have seen in a league game, in a long, long time.

Still a big problem how unintuitive items are on if they work with things or not. Like how Fizz's aa proc dot will work with some items, yet Teemo aa dot won't
Probably the ease with which Teemo can apply it compared to Fizz, and the frequency.

the 1st Q bleeds and the 2nd Q also bleeds, but also heals you and does bonus damage if they are already bleeding, and also Q makes the little dogs attack targets you hit
and its the E that heals the little dogs not the W

Damn the range of the W is broken af especially for a point and clic dash. Also noticed that the 1st Q does make Pantheon bleed through his shielding thing, so the second Q will still make huge damages after it ends which is quite good to know ! Also I think the W works kind of the same as Caitlyn's ult : if you target an ennemy but another one gets in your path you'll hit him instead, so when people will start getting used to it it might be dangerous to try to dash in the backlane from your front since, you know ... You might aim for a Nami and end up headbutting an angry Sion. ^^'
Edit : About the pet I think the cool thing is that they are all viables on her, like the blue or red ones might be cool with the build of this video since you already have a lot of sustain (even tho the extra shield/tenacity is always good on this kind of champs), but the green one is probably the best with a lethality build since, let's be honest, we'll rarely use the E do disengage so the extra tenacity/shield are quite valuable ... Oh and indeed I think smth like Death Dance would be more valuable than BotRK since you don't get to auto attack that much with this build !

Probably from the fact that her entire kit just screams "jungle". She might be a very easy champion to initiate ganks at a 3 camp clear, her dogs can tank the jungle for her effortlessly to make her come out with most hp for the gank, and she has a lot of means to close the gap. I'll be honest, the last thing I thought while looking at her kit was mid, especially with how volatile some early matchups against mages with stuns can be.
Riot doesnt actually know what they design champs for. They have 200 years of experience and know nothing about their game.

At about 2.30 you were wrong, you said first q marks and then second bleeds and does more dmg. They both apply bleed and the second one deals any left over bleed dmg of the first when it hits so it looks like it does alot more.
my bro she isnt intended to be made jngl, she was made as a mid to roam faster bc of her easy kit
Maybe, for this same build you should try out: Rav Hydra / Goredrinker / BoRK / Cringebow / BT, and maybe get Atk Spd stacking runes and Berserker Greaves instead of defensive ones
To be honest, Naafiri is a midlaner but i see the can also work in jungle
She was intended to be a mid lane Ron release but that doesn’t mean she WILL be a mid lamee. I’ve been saying everyone saying she was released as a jg. But she was created to be a mid lane assassin
3:13 he went from 620 hp to 2340 because he hit the enemy naafiri, her dogs and katarina and the shockwaves from the ravenous healed him back to full. And btw that was with anti healing.
For the Q I'm pretty sure the first hit triggers bleed and the second hit removes the bleed and does bonus damage
Day 7 of asking for the tankiest Rakan toplane build with:
Sunfire for wave clear, Jak'Sho, Fimbul Winter into Dark Seal which works really well with Rakan for some AP (Can be bought a little earlier too) then situational items based on teamcomp either more tanky or some more ap/utility
For runes:
Aftershock, Shield Bash, Conditioning, Revitalize or Unflinching
Eyeball and Ultimate Hunter (Consider taking attack speed rune cause It's good for farming, proc-ing sunfire and most importantly Rakan's passive shield + Shield Bash)
This build excelsl in ganks and teamfights cause you have a lot of resistances with Jak'Sho and you keep getting a lot of shields with passive and Fimbul Winter and healing with Q and It's all more effective with resistances

She is a Fighter / Subclass Diver leaning into Assassin with the reset that gives her high risk high reward mobility for multiple takedowns / escape.
heimer, yorick, naafiri, Elise, zyra/gp/illaoi/azir
Not a summoning comp (malz voidlings get one shot by any aoe and belveth ones just go down lanes) but rather it makes it so that team fights are filled with random garbage and completely unreadable
When yorick and azir walls, Zyra, azir, heimer, gp and elise circles, illaoi and naafiri tethers, etc are all out the enemy team will go blind looking for the tiny minion hp bars
Can we see a tanky Naafiri game? I feel like Iceborne would be amazing on her with it's 10% damage reduction

Nafiri's ult gives OUT OF COMBAT movespeed specifically. I think you need to try her with Mobi boots and basically just be Speed Racer all over the map.

since her Q2 crits when you hit first Q, it can actually make your Q's deal insane damage
