Wow, all these years later and Ja still can't catch a break from the fans. I'm from South Carolina so I definitely have no personal knowledge of what he did and didn't do. The only things I know are from the interviews from his side and 50's side. If people are being honest with themselves most don't "know" any more than that either. People are even saying this dude is lying about selling drugs in his early teens. Every single one of us knows more than one or two people who started selling crack in their early teens for the exact same reasons he stated. Would it be that big of a shock to find out he was telling the truth? It really doesn't matter to me at all if he is or not because like many of you I have heard this story a million times so maybe I'm numb to it. Maybe this story doesn't stir up emotion anymore. So what now? Does some rapper have to actually catch a murder case (Snoop, Lil Boosie etc...) for us all to say "Oh he real"? Real doesn't make good music. All I want to hear is good music. I don't want to listen to the Chief Keef's, Lil Durk's, Bobby Shmurda's, and anyone else with that sound just because people see them as "real" and they live what they rap. Man we have to do better. Ja made music that is 100 times better than the crap we are forced to listen to on the radio these days.
Wise supreme confirmed Ja was in the streets before rap. At 17 Ja was living in a trap house with chris black hustling until black got locked up for 5 years. Not long after Ja got signed. Ja ain't lied about nothing he's talking about.
bob bobob Lol, oh shit you caught that😆 Nah I sent it out so fast I didn't proof check it before I sent it to you. So I made a long story short and got straight to the point with this one, I apologize bro' lol!!!
That let yu know how much Ja has grown as a person even tho 50 still ain't grown to much Ja still gave it up 4 the nikka as a part of the Queens movement. That's a Testament to who Rule really is. Met him personally he's a good dude loves his fans.
He wasn't tryna list every rapper from queens off the top of his head lol. He was just using examples. Y'all get so butthurt when your favourite rapper doesn't get named, smh.
He would have been straight up hating if he didn't mention 50 considering the answer he gave was about successful rappers from Queens. In no way could he rightfully leave 50 out of that considering he is top 5 richest ever in hip hop.
damn ja rule was hustling near where i go to college thats wild to think of, albany an integral part of the game cats always mention it but not too much talk bout it
I'm sure that nobody will ever read this because there are so many comments but sometimes I like to go out to my mother's garden and bury myself in the ground and pretend I'm a carrot
to many haters on Ja rule like seriously this nigga had some hit songs made millions was in a few movies and y'all are keyboard warriors living with your mommies and daddies respect to ja
That’s what people don’t understand. Anyone can sell drugs. It’s not that hard. Just fast money. But the negatives outweigh the positives. People act like you gotta be some serial murderer to sell drugs.
@@hiphop6045 Nah he doesn't but when listing the most influential rappers to come out of Queens are just find it hard understand how you cant mention Nas who is arguably one of the greatest rapper of all time!!!!
Amd this is why I fucks with Rule & Murder inc. Even when all my friends were listening to 50 & choosing G-Unit.. I was still down with Ja Rule & crew. I was getting posters ripped off my walls & shit 😂 & to this day still throwing up the M's! Lol I even got in so much shit from my aunty for getting my 1 1/2 yr old baby cuzzin to say "its murdah"! Being one of his 1st words🤣 We still joke about it & his nickname is Ja-Jizz 😂
I usually don’t comment. But call it crazy or norm. It was the culture of making money in the 80’s. I can concur it was shameful. But hey now the drugs are legal !!! It’s just taxed. The games done changed.
... So why did a small part of his story sound like American Gangster the Denzel flick lol Jesus Christ the acting game getting heavy out here Robert Williams "still move bass"... Future "moving dope" Migo whippin bricks 😂😂😂
He uses "success" and "successful"..but I ask what is that exactly? Jordans, chains, and a bimmer? Can success really be found in "the hood" or does he equate success with material items? And who came up with that particular narrative of success?
Success isn't just one thing. People mistake having a lot of money means they are successful but it really isn't. Its a collection of things in your life all balled into one that makes you successful as a person. Financial success is just one part of that process.
ZatoOW but whose narrative are you defining success by? I personally know folks with luxury cars and fly clothes but live with their moms and dads, or live like 5 deep in one house..are they successful? Is the man with his own car house boats planes women successful? I'm trying to get an understanding of whose definition of success many folks are striving to achieve...that is all..I'm not saying I don't agree with you..I want to know where this mythical "success" narrative comes from...

Authenticity mattered then. You don’t have to make that music but lying is lying. No one cared until Eminem and D12 bodied them repeatedly after 50.

Its a child's perspective of success.....its not that deep. When you get in your 20's you develop a different concept of success
Success isn't just one thing. People mistake having a lot of money means they are successful but it really isn't. Its a collection of things in your life all balled into one that makes you successful as a person. Financial success is just one part of that process.
