@@laurakirschner4606in most American cities, “uptown” is the affluent area. Hence “white-bread world” = well-off ish. Contrast that with “downtown man” which is more poor. Hope this helps

God you forget how good this is. Three minutes of absolute magic with no even slightly boring moments. And the SINGING! I'm sure most fans know Billy reckoned this album was probably the last time he'd be able to sing like this so he went out in a blaze of glory. That's the only problem. I want to sing along so much but I can't keep up with the high notes or all the ricocheting up and down the scales.
