Is it bad when the A and Z line have a big difference? What is the maximum acceptable difference, something like 5cm? You said this is compensated for by bar in bar out, but you also said use pigtails to compensate for it? I dont really understand what you mean by it, put pigtails on the front line and steering line, and then make a knot at the cm in difference to compensate or something? Also when there is a big difference between the 2, what will be the effect on the flying characteristics? Ive just adjusted my mixed btw and its not enough, the rope at the ring/loop has been used up, i cant adjust it any further, any suggestions?
Thanks. Given that A and Z are equal out of the bag isnt it best to lengthen Z to match A first and then check B and C against them?? otherwise as Z shortens you will end up with progressively more Z tension over time and a backstalling kite???
Hi, it depends on the difference between A and Z. You can’t lengthen the Z by adjusting the mixer. Therefore you will need to add pigtails or change out the back main lines that you can buy from Flysurfer and / or change the yellow pully lines. Hope this helps.
Hi. Thanks for making the video, it's excellent. Why when using the two screw drivers did you place them 20cm apart? The trim checker tool is not doing that, the front and back lines are adjacent by comparison? Regards.

@@benmaz Thanks. I get it now. If your A and Z are uneven the distance between the screw drivers allows you to move the angle until A and Z are even at the first test point. The tool is doing the same as the end near the tool can slide around on either side to cater for an uneven A and Z from test point to the bar lines connection.
