Speedo cable tip: mix rubbing alcohol and graphite in a squirt bottle and squirt it into the cable housing. The alcohol will evaporate and the graphite will lube and stop the annoying noise from the speedo. My Father had an 64 model and these cables will drive you crazy, lol.
I'm a Ford man but I love the old Chevys. Love that baby blue paint. Some people here say they don't like the wheels. They look okay to me. A little graphite on that Speedo cable should take care of it. And a new fuel sender in the gas tank.
VERY nice color combo. Great designed truck with that extended roof line on the back. The reason that horn works is because NO ONE changed the steering wheel and put a GT on it. Lol...nice ride all around.
I love this pick up as I love my 65 Chevy too,,except mine is a C20,,but I will change the suspension to 5 lugs really good price too,,thanks for sharing
This is the sexiest body style I love these I have a 66 long bed it’s my hotrod it’s the top of the line model it’s got factory ac and all the fancy things and apparently the little under the dash ashtrays are rare it’s got one of those to it’s got a 2 speed with low rearend gears so it was real peppy and badass without the kickdown then I got it hooked up and it will smoke the tires at about 30 now😂
Yamaha Guy17 Probably because I’ve helped my buddy do two One we dropped the body on a Chevy blazer 4x4 that we cut the frame down That ones a red step body The other is an all out aluminum heads intake radiator with electric fans air bag system 6 speed manual I didn’t do as much on that one but I supplied all the stainless steel lines for everything from gas brakes and air ride from a lab I demoed out and saved the med gas lines for him He only had to buy a few fittings That one is black
@@peterpiper_203 they are just eye catchers to me you really don’t see many of them either you see tons of squarebodys and tons of 70s Chevys but never any of these
motor changes, loss of correct parts, different trans. best to buy vintage all as one big part engine trans, and shift column. alot goes on for that mechanical method to work properly. i have a whole package used and someone offered me so much for the rods,i got scared and kept it all.
It will eventually burn the transmission up, what everyone calls a passing gear or kick down cable servers a purpose. It will end up burning up clutch pack and band.

One of Chevy’s best truck styling, second only to the 48-53 3100s! Love the color combination too
Are those the years with the long shiny grille that has like 7 or 8 layers
@@yamahaguy1732 Yes it is, best grill design by far imo
@@Nebulasecura yeah they are really nice trucks

Man I like this truck it seems oddly fast😂
Nice, wish it was a short bed. Still very sharp.
I was 10 years old when my father bought a brand new C10 with the 283 small block it was pretty BAD ass for a small block V8 HO
That's a steal..
not seen body yet but you seem have good price on this one really like this pickup
I'd go fuel injected on this but very complete nice looking truck.

Do you make sure the taillights work before you take off ?
I love the horns on these trucks 😂
Very. Very nice. A lot of things to fix for 16 grand. I would love to have it tho.
We actually just sold this yesterday, thanks for watching
Man this was a bargain
Somebody buy this before I do and end up in divorce court
I'll watch your episode on divorce court LOL
That’s a beautiful truck
Steering wheel and column are out of a base model '67 or '68 C/10. Doesn't go well.
Good looking truck. Too bad it’s a long bed!
what color would you call that??? i would like to paint one that color
Nice truck, dig that blue and white, minus those wheels.
Yeah I’d throw some rally’s on it
@@yamahaguy1732 same thought. Def some rallys
@@aaronshensky9385 yeah they look so good with rally’s I have some on my 66
@@yamahaguy1732 - A set of 15x8 Corvette rallies would do the trick!!!
Favorite generation Chevy truck
Yeah I have a 66 I love it I don’t know what it is I guess it’s the simplicity of them along with the beautiful shape and looks of them

Exactly
Can’t stand the square ones or the
Generation after this style
Kinda confused. Wrong horn button and if that is the factory air it should have 2 center outlets and a couple of Pull knobs for the the a/c?!
The price is good.
y'all have a 1955 Chevy car
be awesome cruising truck down under
Why arent the kick down hooked up on a lot of old vehicles
