If only we could see this happen in real life; Challengers and Big Boys are awesome locomotives.
This makes me think of what it would be like with the 4014 on the way and the 3985 soon after..they could do this! That would be the coolest thing in railroading history!!
throw in 844 and you got a deal
@@divanola throw in 4012 and 3977 in the mix
That would be awesome!
Excellent video! And great trains. Far from what we are used to in Europe. Thanks for posting.
Kind regards from Sweden

Beautiful video and layout. Thanks for posting.
This museum and layout are always impressive but that was insanely cool! Beautiful models!- Joey
Thank you Bill for another great video from the CMRRM
That is so awesome!!!! Great job showing the train climb. And seeing all the cool spots on the layout too bad I'm not closer
I must say, it's rather a nice touch that the second 4-6-6-4 model is running with the original tender, rather than the 'centipede' tender of the other two.
Awesome. I will visit the museum one day.
Great video, that’s one awesome train on a super nice layout 👍👍👍😎😎😎
All i can say is just totaly totaly awesome model railroad ,,,excellent video

Great video Bill !
Awesome video. Would love to see another video uploaded soon. Haven’t seen a new video uploaded a while they are missed.
wow great video
yes I really did, I subscribed to your channel take care
Very cool
You would need one challenger
Beautiful video as always! Are these locomotives brass?
Thanks Anthony. The two Challengers are brass. The Big Boy is from BLI.
It should be noted, those three engines are brass.
Silly question but does that equate to more tractive effort for the locos? I would think it does over plastic.
@@johnpurdum8126 That depends on the weight of the engines vs. plastic. In this case probably as only three engines pulling 100 cars up a 2.5 % grade. I recall another 100 car train required 6-7 plastic steamers on the same layout.
What brands are those locomotives? Very nice video, great train.
Thanks BB1960. The Big Boy is from BLI. The Challengers are brass from some time back. Don't know the who the importer was.
@@billr991 thnx a lot
✌️🥰🥰🥰
Put the challenger at the back
Need some smoke ;)
Everything weighted to NMRA specs?
My guess would be yes. To be sure one would have to ask the owner of the consist, CMRM volunteer Steve Watrous.
awesome how much does the track climb to have a doorway that cannot be blocked but I can go above it to clear the door when the train derailment in Field British Columbia that line runs along the mountain forget about that can run a mountain on both sides of the doors and can hind the elevator as well in the mountain and still have place to store unwanted cars to be hidden out of plain view trains that is gone off the for no mans land waiting for the time to come but in to play in the exit couple day on a different line
Big Boy on steep grades and through tight curves? Doesn't really work for me...
