Only this one forces you to install it on your C: aka Main Device. My information about that is 100% serious. Only cuz it works, doesn't mean that i didn't have a tojan or else on it. Ask the sad Final Fantasy 14 Community about the most "loved" shader progam - spoiler: it was a trojan and crypto miner. you can google it, if you want. it took years to discover this. So why we canno't install OpenIV on a different location? if you install it on your main hdd/ssd/nvme it has the change to build up extremely fast. So fast that any antivirus program didn't notice it fast enough - thats the main reason why you don't wanna install every trash on your main drive. So yes - it makes it extremely SHADY. just use whatever you use to charge ur controller and plug it into ur pc with it connected to your controller and it will work but if u have blue tooth hold down the window button and the main button on ur controller and it should come up
Xbox should work from the get go. But Am using a ps4 controller and i have epic games. Had to connect steam to epic and social so i can use it. Look up there are few quick videos. (Just remember if there is an update you might have to redo all this)
Hey is it just me, or does anyone start to lose fps after installing more than 3 mods? even small script mods. this fps drop didn't happen to me back in 2022 and mid 2023, but it just started happening now, I did a fresh reinstall, deleted all saves and etc. and I have 4gb Vram with High settings, same as I did in 2022 and mid 2023.

You have to find your where your gta is located, if you are using steam go into your propities for gta v and browse files. Then select that folder. Im not sure what it is for a epic games. But if you need to know more try to search up open IV tutorials. Hope this help. Im having trouble with modding so your not alone.
@@smogus5806 delete mod folder then re-install open iv and then go in edit mode then download evrything it says. It will also ask to create mod folder so click on yes then go to your game directory and the copy the update folder in your mods folder and then follow the steps shwon in vids

Try and find an traffic car replacement mod there are a few nice ones that replaces almost every car in the game and they dont really impact performance that much
Sometimes if its too much load on your computer it will crash becuase gta is very sensitive but i would recomend to search on YT for traffic replacement mods i know theres one that is 330 cars and it work perfect

rockstar has a system that can detect changes to the gta 5 files and no matter what it is, it will stop you from going online. If you tried you would get a message saying "You have changed files" or something like that, but it is possible to bypass this and get onto online anyway, your free to do whatever you want *UNTIL* the anti cheat detects your files again and your banned anyways which usually takes a few hours to a week or so to detect
@@MrFishybun 😒you being a bit rude, especially considering you skipped alot of steps.. did you tell them to check whether scripthook supports their game versions? Plus for some people it's a specific mod that's causing the issue
navigate through the files as shown in the video with ope iv and it should tell you that the path you took is in the mods folder and then you can click copy path and it should copy the same pathway into your mod folder.

I've used OpenIV for years to mod IV, V, and RDR2. It's not shady, it's one of the only programs that can mod R* games

followed the steps but my mods folder is empty instead of \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
Copy the x64 folder and the update folder and paste into your mods folder
