Just seemed more genuine, earthly, like he truly knew why he was on that stage; worship the Creator and all things were added to him. I will serve thee was written by Bill and Gloria Gaither in 1969. Exact same lyrics, the Cathedrals just did the chorus and 1st verse. In fact, the offical lyrics list the chorus before the 1st verse.
