La Union....Surfing Town so am a bit surprised it's not jacked up prices ? Have been curious about moving there for some time now. Stuck in Manila so I'll keep dreaming lol. Are there large cottage type places not far from nice beaches for a decent price ?

Yea , went to Cebu a few weeks ago... really crowded.... I can leave here at 6am and be in Cebu by 1pm..... stay for a few days then go back.... less crowded here.... I thought traffic was bad here ! LOL Nice places there I'm sure, I just didn't have time to look . May move to Bohol next..Thanks for the comment Stan!

Philippines should start adapting Western bathrooms where showers are separate from the toilet bowl. Everything else looks good except the bathrooms.
