Start to finish and i was glued in place! What a gorgeous turnout. Every detail was very thoughtful. Like a mini jerret bay! Congrats to the owner and to the builders for including a part of their soul into the build.
that is a beautiful center console with incredible Carolina style bow flare and lines...looks like it could have come out of a Scarborough or Buddy Davis yard! You are an artist. Berlin, CT.
Beautiful boat. I hope it is still bringing you joy. I have to laugh when people ask how much these boat builds cost. It seems like they always cost everything you have.
It’s a great design for how I use the boat. Mostly off shore. It handles like a race car. Handles the seas like a larger boat. I did add spray rails, it was not as dry as I like with out them. I did raise the sole 1.5” if you build it I recommend raising it 1.5” to 2”
That's pretty amazing. I'm building a stitch and glue boat as well, but not nearly that big. Awesome build! How satisfying that you did that and its gonna bring many many years of enjoyment and reliability. Once again, great job! Love it.
She IS beautiful, you know you just ruined my plans to build a fast Skiff 19, THANK YOU. Great lines, dry as the desert isn't she? I have always loved the look of a center console with a bracket. not to mention the space saved, and the added safety in rough or following seas. the finished wood toe rail really sets of the bow, and after all it is a wooden boat, but hardly what comes to mind when you tell a person "ya I'm going to build a wooden boat", I,m sure you know what I mean. I used to own a Mako 224, Yami 250, 3800#, trimmed right she would do 53 mph on flat water. It floated away in a divorce, (not literally). Do you know the weight w/motor of your Carolina 25? Always wanted to build a wooden boat since I was 14, thought the 19 ft Fast Skiff would be enough for me now. watching this video sure has me re-assessing my decision to go smaller, thats kinda back as-swords anyway isn't it? Your next boat is supposed to be BIGGER then your last boat right? (say yes). Once again beautiful craft, my compliments Leonard
You never got your answer but here's the bill of materials from bateau.com for this boat. Costs will vary depending on where you live. Plywood 4x8' (122x244cm) 1/4" (6mm) 13 3/8" (9mm) 5 3/4" (19mm) 4 1/2" (13mm) 16 Fiberglass (totals) Biaxial tape 651 yards 586 m Woven tape 50 yards 45 m Biaxial fabric 111 yards 100 m Resin Epoxy, total 34 gallons 136 liters
Shit prob doesn’t even look at this any more, so won’t waste a lot of my time, what a beautiful boat, I want a 21’ center console close to this but deep bow like he has talk about cutting a big wave. Would absolutely loveto talk to this guy for about 2 hours, I’m gonna build my own boat. I can do this I know I can if I just live long enough to finish it, 61, 62, Jan 1st. I’m tired of not having toys I want, time for me get them
The best way to do it would be to cut the stringers thicker by the amount you want to raise the sole. I did it after the stringers were in place by adding an inch and a half piece of stock.
I believe it hs been more than 2 years you have been cruising by this boat. Would you mind to share your opinions about the design please. Like handling, stability etc?
Great Job. Beautiful Boat. I'm planning on building one of these not sure if I want to build the 23' or 25' version. Are you available to answer some questions?
Thanks. Some construction questions: What brand of Epoxy did you use? Marine Plywood throughout, I'm assuming? Where did you get your plans for the hard T-Top? Did you get a final weight of the build? Operational: I couldn't tell what the hp of your Mercury was? GPH Burn and Top Speed with this engine? Are you happy with the ride and handling? If you were building it again, would you do anything different? Thanks in advance, Chris
Looks very good, well done. Did you build this boat with or without a plan? I'm thinking of building fisherboat myself, but I can't find a decent plan. Can you put me in the right direction?
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BOAT, THE VIDEO AND THE BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!!!
Start to finish and i was glued in place! What a gorgeous turnout. Every detail was very thoughtful. Like a mini jerret bay! Congrats to the owner and to the builders for including a part of their soul into the build.

How much for the materials and parts to build something like this. Impressive
Hello friend Congratulations for the video I'm Brazilian and subscribed to your channel would you have the mold of these plants for me?
How long did it take to finish.looks awesome
looks like there shouldnt be any problem finding some carpet for the boat interior - your workspace should engender neat work and dust suppression
bravo..gud job
Nice build and you mentioned raising the sole but how did you accomplish that? Also, was your console the large one from the plans?
The best way to do it would be to cut the stringers thicker by the amount you want to raise the sole. I did it after the stringers were in place by adding an inch and a half piece of stock.
@@robertcummings2144 Excellent thanks. Did you put in a toilet under the console?
I believe it hs been more than 2 years you have been cruising by this boat. Would you mind to share your opinions about the design please. Like handling, stability etc?
What? No fishing poles? JK, great job
Very nice, Robert, well done! I'm curious where you found the back rest / rocket launcher on your leaning post? Or maybe you had it fabricated?
I had all the alum. fabricated
Did you got plans for cs 25 for free?
Great Job. Beautiful Boat. I'm planning on building one of these not sure if I want to build the 23' or 25' version. Are you available to answer some questions?
Sure, what do you want to know?
Thanks. Some construction questions:
What brand of Epoxy did you use?
Marine Plywood throughout, I'm assuming?
Where did you get your plans for the hard T-Top?
Did you get a final weight of the build?
Operational:
I couldn't tell what the hp of your Mercury was?
GPH Burn and Top Speed with this engine?
Are you happy with the ride and handling?
If you were building it again, would you do anything different?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Looks very good, well done. Did you build this boat with or without a plan? I'm thinking of building fisherboat myself, but I can't find a decent plan. Can you put me in the right direction?
