Nu-salt is potassium. It is cheap and you can find it at any grocery store in the salt section. It is sold as a salt substitute. I make my own electrolyte drink.
I have been playing with a SixZero double black for a half year now. I wanted to try something with more control so I bought the Luxx. I played with it a few times and while it does have great control, against high level players it was just too tough to put away balls. Even with added led tape. I am returning it and going back to my double black. The Luxx isn’t a bad paddle it just wasn’t for me. If you are a player that really struggles with control I would recommend it
I understand why you turned most of the lacing into a montage (most of us have replaced laces before) but it would have been very helpful to actually see you setup and add the actual locking mechanism. The rest of the video is great, thanks!
Yo! My wall hates me now because of you 😂 [thanks for the drill work ideas]. fellow photog and videographer from Orange County. you guys should do a meet up after San Clemente PPA event. Would love you say hi and hang. 🤘
Ive been wanting to get a new paddle but I am torn. I watched your review of the Luxx but im not sure if its the right one for me. I come from a tennis backgound (mediocre tennis) and early on I was absolutely a banger and still am some times, but im working to move up to get my short game better. I was considering the Luxx but one of my best attributes is hitting a deep ball but you had said that you dont get as much power or really have to put effort to hit it hard for luxx. I see you are playing with the power air now, do you compare these two?
Power air (vanguard) and control air (luxx) are two bipolar opposites- I’m currently playing with the power air more to hone in more of my drives and counters.
I was demo- testing the Luxx as well. I wanted more control over my forehand dinks. I had a power air but the "shock" of the paddle gave me Tennis Elbow. I use the Pro Kennex Black Ace now and just work really hard on my forehand dinks.
Love how you care a lot about your specs for everything--paddle, mic, bag, etc. really cool to see
According to one person, soaking the Hesacore in warm water also makes it really easy to put on.

I love how you put the microphone next to your ear, never seen that before LOL 👍👍👍

Good luck at the tournament!!! Can you give us an update to how everything went and how the new paddle, shoes, and bag worked??
For sure! When I get home, I’m planning to put together a little vlog recap video!
How did you do??? I tried to figured out how to watch you in the tournament but couldn’t find a stream :/

Does PPA allow the white/gold paddle color pattern?

Does Hesacore affect switching grips quickly during play?
From Luxx?
Question. I can use the SLK geo grip with the Hexacore grip in my Power Air Invikta as overgrip???
I hate the power air but I LOVE the LUXX

What mic do you use?
I saw your other video where you recommended udrippin overgrips, but here your using Wilson. Which ones do you prefer and actually use, and why?
This video was filmed back in December and I didn’t know about Udrippin at the time :-) I currently only use Udrippin
Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear it because I ordered a dozen after seeing your other video!
Don't you have to cover the tungsten tape with anything?
Tungsten is non toxic so not necessary :)
I lost track which Selkirk paddle your using😊. You waved Lux than picked up another. Just saying Air does mean the Lux but the original.

@@edjupickleball nothing beats put away power.
"Bipolar opposites"??
I think Polar opposites would be correct..
Just sayin...😅

Why dont you use 002 paddle?
002s are really hard to get these days and seems like production is slowing on those. Great paddle, but it’s also $350 😭
They’re in stock right now on selkirklabs… but yeah 360 after tax shipping I paid on selkirk for mine😫 was a lot but well worth it
That’s how 3.5’s install hesacore. 😂
