The rabbi told each person separately not to overrate themselves. But not as a couple. Don't forget, he said it with a Jewish Brooklynese accent and character!

As usual, I enjoyed and learned so much from Rabbi Alon . During my days I hear what he said over and over. We put into practice many of his teachings. His technique works well for us and many of his followers! 😊

Dear Rabbi. And I don't mean salutations. You, Rabbi, are very dear to me. Please don't stop lying. I treasure every opportunity I get to lie if it would harm another individual to hear the truth. That is also somewhere in the Halakhah, and I thank Hashem every time I get to save someone from harm, especially if it costs me an unreasonable resolution I might place on myself. Love you very much. You were instrumental in Hashem changing my life. Also, I wish you would not call yourself a liar. Though you may practice deception, from time to time, you are precious to Hashem, and you will not be counted a liar.

Serach played on her kinor, Yosef is alive
Yaakov was so happy when the wagons did arrive
When Yaakov saw Yosef after so many years
They hugged one another and cried happy tears
Chorus: ‘‘I am Yosef, my father is alive."
‘‘I am Yosef, my father is alive."

@46:50 of course God wants you ! Is it important if any person will miss you or more important to do the manual and cleanse your soul, listening to reasonable rebuke, tenacious self improvement in the ways Hashem has given us, doing the work of H*. Be careful. H* warns us, be careful, don’t be haughty. ❤️”who are you kidding”
❤”you are not so great” used when we are on the verge of becoming haughty. Good work, good use of this our time 😅
    It’s a knowing.

    • @RabbiAnavaAlon

When Rabbi Anava lived in Chicago he didn't live in a Jewish area and attended Shul. He would only travel up north to Skokie to the 'Hungarian supermarket' to shop for Kosher food.
