I just bought the blue one, and I love it! Feels way more high-quality then I expected. Agree about the tail stand ability. Slightly annoying. Currently half price right now on Amazon! I just need to get me a spare one of these weird (but cool) 14100 batteries 😅

I recently discovered AceBeam and purchased the Pokelit AA in Gray. It’s a fantastic little flashlight, and I got it for just £23-a great value for the quality. Shortly after, I came across the TAC AA model, which I also decided to buy. At only £22, it's an incredible bargain for a 1600-lumen rechargeable torch! I ordered it from China, so I'm still waiting on delivery, which I expect to arrive tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to testing it out.

I believe the blue one is better, different LED, I love it.

Not better, has a different emitter. It has less lumens, but farther throw. Having using both, the standard has higher lumens and is a better edc light. It has a nice balance of throw and usable spill for flood. The blue, is great for longer throw, but has weaker spill, and limits the peripheral performance. If you purchased the blue one, try one of the regular ones for a day, and thank me later. There is nothing wrong with the blue, but for those who want an edc, I highly recommend the standard light. The blue is ok, and it does have a little more visible throw, with a bright spot but week spill. This kida limits its performance/niche. If you could only buy one, get the standard version.

Hi, thanks for the review, you covered important aspects. Does it get considerably hot between the high & turbo mode?

Hey, sorry for the late reply! I left it on high from the rear switch for at least five minutes. Body was fine to grab - lens cap area got a bit warm, but nothing unusual. I think ambient temperatures probably play a big part too, but my house is bloody freezing!

Some things to know: This light comes in a super throwy cool white low CRI SFT-25R LED, or a regular throwy Nichia 519R high CRI neutral white. Both have a dual switch set up that makes the UI confusing. Plus, the length makes it awkward to pocket carry. I returned mine. The regular TAC AA is the better light IMO.
