  • I unbox a Danby 70 pint dehumidifier; then show how to set the humidity level , use the timer, and empty water from the unit.
3 years later this unit still works fine after LOTS of use. I bought another dehumidifier October , 2023 for use in an apartment - video here :

Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

i had a low tech one in eugene or. if i needed one, i would put the drain out the wall, and maybe some large water container outside. the water is distilled but dust and stuff can get in. still pretty good for watering some plants or washing outside, etc

I want to keep the humidity to 45% in a basement bedroom and living room. The instructions and this video did not really help clear this out for me. What settings should I use? 😅

My danby ddr45a3gdb has been draining properly thru the drain hose for 2 years. Now it's leaking out thru the bottom. Collection tray is dry. Any advice? Thanks.

Can you keep it at a set humidity? For example I need to keep it on 50 each day would it stay or fluctuate?

You are asking if a dehumidifier will become a humidifier if the humidity gets below the level you set. It will not.

my version does not have that lame cover that causes you to make a huge mess and get it all humid again in there . remove that piece its not needed
