My Radio Bio:
I procrastinated getting into Amateur Radio for several years. In November of 2021 I started my journey. With the help of UA-cam and the ARRL License Manuals I passed my Technician/General exams in one sitting.
By March 2022, I had passed my Amateur Extra exam and was awarded KE8TQZ as a call sign. I immediately filed for a vanity call and submitted my reciprocity to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. In April 2022 I received my vanity call of WV7MS, as well as, my RMI call sign of V73MS.
From April 2022 thru December 2022 I operated as V73MS from Roi-Namur Island located in the Kwajalein Atoll. What an excellent place to learn the DX side of Ham Radio. I returned back home in January 2023 and have since been on the air from West Virginia as WV7MS.
