I wish I could do all this stuff but I just don't know where to start :/ Anybody have any tips on where to get soil/ plants/etc or how to take care of everything (or just a place I can learn that stuff)??
I definitely used to be in your place not too long ago! You should maybe start with some succulents or snake plants! Snake plants are super hard to kill and are fantastic for new plant owners. You could get some soil from a store like lowes or home depot but every plant has different needs so make sure you research!
Zz plants are also good, like the lad above me said, succulents, there small and can be quite easy to take care of if you do reasearch about the plants!
when i started loving plants a couple years ago, my first plant was a spider plant. there so easy to take care of and can thrive from neglect. they like bright, indirect light and only need to be watered when the top of the soil drys out i would recommend this as a first plant.
^yes!! All of those are super easy options, snake plants + zz plants + spider plants are all very hardy and don’t need to be watered regularly/ handle low/high light conditions,,, pothos are also pretty easy and look super cute as they grow long vines + pretty rapidly, they will droop if they are under watered and bounce back pretty well, also very easy to propagate (literally snip along a stem and pop in some water, try to make sure a node/ little brown bump/ is present on ur cutting and then just change the water once every 1-2 weeks) a larger house plant that I’ve also had some luck with are peace lily plants,, have fun on your plant adventures! Wishing you the best! - I personally found succulents to be a bit difficult as an overwatering plant mom, they also require quite a bit of sun but many have had luck with them as low maintenance plants on a windowsill, always better to under than overwater with succulents (they will pucker/shrivel when too low, kind of like your fingers after you have been in the water for too long)
God is so good He had mercy on me even when I definetly didn't deserve it UuU sorry for "expressing" in the comments, just... enjoy the video ... but remember you have a garden to take care even after this video ends, so if you want to trust Him, the door is open
