Complicated 1800s Swiss Silver ClockWatch Pocket Watch Grand Sonnerie

This antique pocket watch will strike the hours and quarter hours in passing and can also sound out the hours and quarter hours on demand by pressing the button on the pendant. It has two barrels to wind - one for the time train and one for the striking train. It has two steel wire gongs that encircle the movement. Signed on the dust cover Bordier a Geneve. There is also a 'silent / loud' lever next to the dial that can be activated to keep it from striking. The watch has a cylinder escapement.
