For replacing the valve body and TCM, not the entire transmission, I do a module installation for the TCM, and then program the solenoid strategy and IDN that is printed on the new valve body. Lastly, I run an update on the PCM. I still have the old TCM, so I am assuming this is the best approach?
Is it hard to program a RFA module? Do you need a special software to do so? I'm trying to contact many programmers but looks like nobody knows how to do it some say I need a special software to do so since requires special software becuz of the security system in the car ..any advice?
its not served through ssh. if you want to download it you need to disable a bunch of security stuff or just use the developer console to force download.
Dirty little secret: FJDS has limitations compared to IDS. Since I already owned a J2534 VCI (Autel MaxiFlash Elite), I thought I’d be able to use the cheaper license of FJDS and avoid having to use Ford’s proprietary J2534 device to program the APIM module (Sync) in my 2016 Transit Connect. Alas, The APIM is NOT among the modules available to be programmed by FJDS. Frustrating to say the least. I was informed by the Bosch tech support that I would need IDS to program my APIM. which IDS requires using a Ford VCM - not cheap. Do- It-Yourselfers beware
I have a Ford explorer 3.5l from 2011. So a Ford explorer PCM from 2013. Was installed. I would like to resolve the PCM wine and data configuration problem misconfigured

I keep getting a DB error when I try to install FJDS to program a DPC202 PCM. Any suggestions how to remedy this?

That means I can’t use the autel Maxisys ultra vcmi to do the programming
And Dardaq3 is FORD approved.
