Another sweet ride scottie, very nice. I'd love to have your job going around car shows and meeting all the owners of these awesome cars they put their heart and souls into so people like myself can appreciate looking at, you do a brilliant job keep it up....
You really hit gold at this show Scotty. The '57 Custom, the Superliner & that amazing '32 Chevy & this one as well. All very tastefully done (well the Starline is pretty over the top, but well made). Very classy cars indeed.
Not to rain on your parade...but back then that was the way to go...now since about 199? you have been able to go to any parts counter and buy a Motor and wiring harness to make it run...it no longer make any sense to me that...you can build a high end Hot Rod...spend all the money...but can't make the motor match?...does that make sense to you?
Its a cool car. Love those 37 Fords **even if he put a Chevy Powerplant between the fenders**. That guy kind of sounds like Billy Ray Cyrus when he talks. Nice find for sure
Scottie ,Just got my shirt, that's a cool shirt man black looks good I bet Greg and white do to I like my choice though Thanx a lot man love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't have a problem with the engine choice. When I was a kid on a real tight budget and looking to build a 1/4 mile car, Chevy was the choice for me. Just cheaper for the power you could get. I saw many Ford hotrods with a Chevrolet power plant.
It's something that has been debated for the past few years....back in the day unless it had a SBC in it you couldn't give it away....home builds have not caught up with the pro builds yet on this....most top shops would not put another manufactures motor in a build now....but in the past it was the only way to go...
Jon Farmer Well anything has always been possible....with time...money....and talent...but the 350 chevy has been the same forever...so parts are cheep...available....and it's a strong motor....Ford on the other hand...was always trying to stay ahead of the curve....so they always changed things...making parts harder to find....and after market companies made a ton of stuff for the 350....very little for the others....

Not to rain on your parade Scotty, but Chevy engines in Ford bodies has been a hot rodding tradition since 1955. 8)

ScottieDTV The whole idea behind hot rodding is to have your car your way. You only build it someone else's way when paid to do so! 8)

Scottie, I somehow deleted your comment but don't know how to get it back. I'm sorry! This should not be possible but it's happened before.

I understand why they did it in the past....but times have changed...everyone has crate motors now....
I thought it was illegal to do that? Lol no but that would bring the value down correct?
Dang thats nice reminds me of something out of theGodfather just updated.
lol..would have been cool in that movie....
As it is, still today. Ford styling, Chevy power. No offense Scottie...lol...just sayin'.

ScottieDTV the only way to go as in the best way or litterly the only way to go
