Thanks to anyone giving a listen! Ive been out of the audio game for quite a while, but I was inspired to make some sort of DRIVE tribute. This isnt what id call a mastered copy, and most everything i did I had to relearn.

As far as everyone who wants an mp3, id be happy if someone could suggest a good mp3 converter, as now i just bounce as wav out of ProTools8 (think mp3 is extra $ idk lol)

This is interesting. Youve really got something. I would suggest not trying to re-create the vocals, but simply "improvising" in the general tone of each stanza. I would go so far as to say that if you could apply the technique i speak about successfully on this track, why not search for some long-forgotten original piece from the eighties, digitize the bassline, and do the same thing. Call it your own, and send it out... Well done, and Good luck! You could be the next Satriani : )

This is seriously amazing. I like how you stay true to the vocal melody, but also how you've personalized the song by improvising riffs so it feels as though it were originally a guitar solo, that takes serious skills I reckon :) I love the original 'A Real Hero' song and the whole Drive soundtrack, something about the film and its musical score that really hit me on some profound level that I'm still attempting to decode and make sense from. Awesome job!

The algorithms have had me on variations of A Real Hero for literally hours. I liked it the first hour. thought it was funny the second. Now I'm morbidly curious as I lose all sense of what the word human being means.
