Just looked at a comment i made on an older video it had 80 likes so i looked at the views and it had 40k views! Congratulations man your channel is blowing up!
that is the coolest guitar i have ever seen! great setup man! I see the walls are brick, i had a home setup for 2 years and the studio walls were brick in a small room and no matter how much treatment I put up the room sounded terrible! I treated every corner with almost 2 foot of treatment floor to ceiling and every wall with 6 inch thick slabs, it got the the point i could hardly move in the room and the low end was still too inconsistent as soon as I moved my head an inch!
Thanks for this insight, Evan! Have you ever thought about using 2 subwoofers to solve the bass problem? Bob Katz has mentioned it in a mastering book. The theory behind it is that if they have the same distance to the sidewalls, they produce antiphase room modes. I've tried it, and for me it works! ✌️
A&H GS3? I just aquired it's predecessor the Thatched Audio S2 16:8:2. I think the GS3 has an extra 7 midi function buttons and the mic input is swapped with the insert point to make the inserts more accessable. Great boards. We are blessed.
Wait a damn minute now! So is the TRS cable partially plugged in just an Allen & Heath thing? Or does this work with any hardware insert? Either way, that's amazing bro! 😂 Excellent video man. And I would LOVE to have so many pieces of your gear. I REALLY want a good 2-Bus converter!
It's documented in the Mackie's manuals, and when you think of it it's logical : how an insert works ? In on tip, Out on ring so when you unplug a notch you got the out on tip...
@SoundKilterStudio Works with everything as far as I know. Any insert can be used in this way to create direct outs (albeit before the eq's in this case).
@@ErinIsBlueBlue Right on. I figured it might be the specifics of the TRS on all devices. I guess I need to pick up a Mackie manual 😅. Thanks for your help!
I found out that bass traps are a marketing term that was just made up. If the traps cover 5% of wall space you have 5% treatment that's it. Acoustic Fields channel has a physicist that talks about it.
What is the name you are talking about your Rhodes which makes it a good one ? Never heard this. Thank you for the tour. Love your channel. One of the real best.
Thank you so much for saying that! I really appreciate the compliment. I'll have to pop the lid off to check that out. It's printed on the inside of it. I noticed it when I was tuning it, looked it up and was pleasantly surprised at what I found. The name escapes me at the moment, but if you have a Rhodes, pop the top and see what you find as far as the signature on it for whomever ok'd it from the factory or was in charge or production on it, that kind of thing. This one is very very old, so maybe they stopped doing that later if there's no name on yours.
@@customcutstudios I mean it, your visions are very wise, profound and you are a humble man. I can say you had your load of sh*t in life. So thank you to find the ability to share your experiences through very thoughtful topics. One thing that makes me laugh is when you talked about the beanie, why the beanie ? It may appear like nothing but it's far more than a funny story. Those who understand understand. Thank you for your comment on the Rhodes. Yes i have a Mark ll because i'm a 80's boy 😄 and i had a really good price twenty years ago when i purchased it from a swiss musician for my 19th birthday. For the little story, this man said to me "i added the old pedal i used with the piano in the parcel for free, i have no use to it" -"Great, thank you sir !". I received the UPS parcel, beautiful piano, i love the Mark ll design. The free pedal ? An original Boss Chorus Ensemble CE-1... In very good condition. So yes, "thank you sir". I haven't any name on the harp on my Rhodes, just 8024. It's a early Mark ll, beautiful sound. Please the next time you open your Rhodes, try to think about me, i'm very interested by the history of Rhodes. Thank you for your answer, it's heartwarming. Yoann
Thanks for the studio tour ! What an awesome collection of gear you have .
Very cool, thanks for the behind the scenes!
Thank you! I'm very happy you like it!

You are right about the patch bay thing. Every song requires a different chain of hardware.

First comment, just started the video - exciting! "Plug it in the Insert 3/4 of the way" is some serious wizardry dude omg
Nice home setup man.

Ah, watching further you have a GL series?
You heard of the flock audio digital patch bay?
have you experimented pushing into the latte? curious to know how it stacks up sonically against the bad4m at the limit.
