My mechanic friend Ricky is one of few that will still work on classic & vintage motorcycles properly . Not many shops will do other than very basic tasks due to the time consuming task of finding the correct parts as they are becoming scarce in some cases . They are trying to wean us off the older motorcycles . I hope that when I am riding my FZR 250 3LN1 that when I leave it in a public place that it doesn't get vandalised .

If you rechip your ECU , you will have even more fun . I have done it to two Tygas .

I have been criticised for going back on the road riding after a 25 year hiatus . Also getting parts for the FZR 250 3LN1 that is being organised . Most motorcycle dealers won't touch anything pre 2000 due to the red tape finding correct parts & the refusal to fit pre loved parts from wreckers . A friend took his MC22(R) to Bikebiz & they reinstalled old defective parts leading to an engine failure later on & overcharged him for work .
