We had a similar experience and felt the same way about Nachi when we visited during our Virgin Scarlet Lady voyage in April. My friend wanted to go snorkeling so we did the snorkeling tour arranged by Nachi. It was very reasonably priced and we visited 2 spots -- one deep water where we saw sea turtles and sharks and another spot that had shallower water where we saw a variety of colorful fish. On of the things I really like is that you don’t have to order all your food at once. You can get chips and guacamole when you first arrive, order your main later etc. They are also pretty flexible n salad vs another appetizer.

Hi! Thank you!!!! There are a lot more people usually at Mr. Sanchos. But if you want a more relaxed day, I would highly recommend NC. If you want to meet people just enjoy a cocktail by the bar. You’ll have no problem meeting folks. 😁
Went to Nachi last October. Found it quieter but they seemed to be lacking staff and the ones there were running busy and not too friendly. Last 2 experience at Sancho's good.

The day we were at moneybag, it was crowded, and there was nothing to see snorkeling.... People were STANDING on the 'reef/rocks'.... Maybe if we knew which direction to go to find the better snorkeling??? But, the current was an issue that day as well...
We were there 4 years ago. Loved our perfect beach day. No boom boom music. Nice Mexican island music at the bars that was it. All adults the day we were there. So nice.
Yes you have to walk through the shopping area to get to the street exit and there will be a line of cabs. Ignore anyone inside who offers to get you a taxi. Go to the official taxi stand. 😁

We haven't been to Nachi since 2010, and it looks like it's hardly changed a bit, maybe just a few more loungers! Very fond memories, and such a beautiful beach with great food and service and friendly people. Could have sworn we even saw our host from over a decade ago walk by in your video!

Was their snorkeling tour right off the beach or did you have to travel somewhere by boat?
Fun fact, we spoke with the comm person there and the chef makes those the corn chips daily!

What about crime in Cozumel?
Cozumel is very safe. It’s a small island with little crime.
